I can imagine the amount of YouTube Shorts and TikTok clips that show Charlie’s monotone voice and “edgy dick and balls” jokes are possibly getting views in the hundreds of thousands, if not millions, from this kind of content. The fact that it’s short form just makes it confusing, considering the amount of out of context clips that you can find.

Yet, no one will wink an eye over it.

Charlie goes over the main reasons why streaming on twitch and youtube are different. The thing that gets me is he says "youtube streaming has no culture". He's saying that like it's a bad thing. I'm glad youtube streaming doesn't have a gay chat subculture of watching people do shit. Youtube does kinda have it but it's different depending on what streamer your watching.

I actually clicked on this thread by accident which is the same reason I ever watch his youtube videos. Looking through this thread, if the worst he's done is streaming with AOC and some mediocre takes and callouts, he's still miles ahead of the average popular streamers.

That's a particularly 'influencer' ego video. It all comes down to who gets the more money in the end, and that's a blatant one. He's getting maybe less I think from the basic members system and payola than Twitch did, but he still gets a lot from the Youtube paying.

Real moistards will remember when he streamed on YouTube and for years he'd decry twitch and the moderation, but the moment they gave him a sponsorship, hes all uwu twitch
