Kind of? Monty Oum was a big reason why RWBY was beloved, and after his death in 2015, a lot of shit went south. Which was also the same year Fullscreen came into the picture.

Not sure what happened to those guys after they left, but once the channel got rebranded as Death Battle, I really feel like they’re making moves to try and be set up for the event RT goes belly up (assuming they just don’t end the show because the quality will take a nosedive without RT’s backing).

Not really, that was the only half decent thing they've done. The rest of their content is very bland and boring centrist & fence sitting 'culture wars' type 'content' (grift) like TheQuartering, Nerdrotic, etc.

And they quickly squandered any goodwill gained by DSP's detractor by turning out to be gigantic faggots soon afterwards. Not that one would really want anything from them, but still.

I had a flashback at how every single Rooster Teeth affiliated channel video around 2015 had to insert an intro with the Lazer Team short trailer, with that God awful rap song and Barbara's voiceover, and then the outro with Burnie asking fans to promote the movie and have it appear in their hometown theaters, ending it up with a cute "Thanks gorgeous."

Despite all the cringe of those segments, the man had passion. Thank God he saw the writing on the wall and bailed.
