thanks for the inspiration btw, been lurking for years without a good username ideaI find it mildly amusing that spoonerizing Daniel Micay sounds like "manual decay" when said out loud.

@DanielMicay said:I've stepped down as lead developer of GrapheneOS and will be replaced as a GrapheneOS Foundation director.
@DanielMicay said:It appears the wording above was unclear. I'm stepping down as a GrapheneOS Foundation director and as lead developer. I won't have any leadership role in the GrapheneOS project.
@GrapheneOS said:Daniel Micay has stepped down as lead developer and will be stepping down as a non-profit director.
@GrapheneOS said:It's up to him if stays as a developer.
Aren’t GrapheneOS and it’s competitor CopperheadOS both free?Claims that this is because of "multiple organizations financially threatened by GrapheneOS", doesn't name who
Actually, CopperheadOS is paid and closed source. Very gay, I know.Aren’t GrapheneOS and it’s competitor CopperheadOS both free?
Seems like that's for source code only. Even then, I can't find a public URL to the source. Then there's this:Seems like it’s free for personal use (which is where I assume they get their consumers from)

What misrepresentations? What fabrications? 99% of the OP is archives of Daniel's own words. That means they cannot be misrepresented, because the archives include context, and they cannot be fabrications.@GrapheneOS@grapheneos.social said:Go look at the site and in particular the thread about Daniel collecting years of misrepresentations and fabrications about him.
No, he is not. Once in a while he logs on and posts in his own thread. That's it.@GrapheneOS@grapheneos.social said:Rossman is active on the site and friendly with the person who made it.
A baseless conspiracy theory. Rossmann did not tell me to make the thread, I did it all on my own. And what an egregious lie by omission. Yes, he was told he'd be banned... and accused of attempted murder... for making a Youtube comment. That's literally what that whole thing was, you couldn't let one single measly Youtube comment go, Daniel. Don't threaten people with publishing allegations of attempted murder and then be surprised when they panic and do something that doesn't go in your favor.@GrapheneOS@grapheneos.social said:The thread was made in sync with him publishing his dishonest video making himself out to be a victim for being told he'd be banned.
Wouldn't "in sync" imply "at the same time"? You made your thread after the video, and it was moved even later stillA baseless conspiracy theory. Almost like I didn't even know about DM until LR's video was published and it took me some time to do research to put together the OP.Wouldn't "in sync" imply "at the same time"? You made your thread after the video, and it was moved even later still
Expect to hear more about this in the future, because I'll be contacting
Mozilla about the fact that you're spreading dishonest attacks and
misinformation about my work, which is a continuation of past harm
inflicted on me by Mozilla employees. You're digging up a past conflict
that was supposed to be put aside, so nice work with that. It's nice to
have another example to point to about damages inflicted by Mozilla. I
expect this to be made right just like the past attacks by Mozilla. I
want a retraction and an apology, but either way this is being included
in documentation on damages.
[...]
Maybe if you didn't spend your time trying to inflict harm on other
projects and individuals, people would be more interested in helping. I
highly recommend that no one contributes any time to Mozilla, which has
a history of taking advantage of contributors, lying to them and abusing
them. Mozilla is built on abusing volunteer labour, and your post here
is just a continuation of that. It's a thoroughly unethical company with
disgusting, unethical people like yourself at the forefront of it. I
have no idea why anyone would want to help scumbags like you.
archiveHave you seen this message chain on the Tor Project's tor-dev mailing list?
Daniel Micay joins the mailing list only after the mails about his hardened_malloc were made, contributes in a discussion with a Mozilla dev (Tom Ritter), and then his typical behavior is unleashed despite being unprovoked and starts bashing at him and saying that Mozilla is an unethical organization that inflicted damages on him.
You can read the entire discussion in that thread: https://lists.torproject.org/pipermail/tor-dev/2019-August/thread.html#13977
But it follows Daniel Micay's typical pipeline and pattern of behavior.

Being distressed about having people repeatedly trying to have you killed by the police isn't insanity. An influencer who openly uses Kiwi Farms and made no secret of their support for harassment trying to portray themselves as a victim for being privately confronted is nonsense.
Got to be him, with the seething about Rossman and I'm fairly certain I've seen him use the same "killed by the police" phrasing in past messages he's posted under his own account. Here's some other info posted today about the GrapheneOS Foundation:Daniel (or whoever runs the account)
When every single thread you make gets "misunderstood and misrepresented" the issue might be you. Not always, of course, but seems to be the case here too.
Definitely him. Considering the fact he only stepped down as lead developer and not down as lead *developer* makes one almost certain he would never willingly give up control of the socials. And especially, as you mentioned, talking about Rossmann, "harassment", and "extreme" attacks. All of it sounds like the way he usually communicates.Got to be him, with the seething about Rossman and I'm fairly certain I've seen him use the same "killed by the police" phrasing in past messages he's posted under his own account. I've updated the OP to clarify he's still working on GrapheneOS and made a thread in TTS to change the subtitle.
