To be able to call yourself a writer, or a good writer, it's not enough to just spunk daddy's coin on a creative writing degree -- you have to actually publish. If you're not publishing, you aren't a writer, you're just another loser wannabe who loves the image but can't actually cut the craft.

So is there any evidence that Rekieta ever actually published anything anywhere? His mash notes to Ricardo and Romaine don't cut it. His MySpace page doesn't cut it either. I'm disinclined to accept anybody who doesn't actually earn money from their writing as a 'writer', but I'm wlling to be flexible here. If somebody has a substantial body of self published work on a substack or medium or some such, I'd be willing to accept that as well.

But surely Rekieta became a lawyer because he was a FAILED writer? Couldn't cut it despite his extensive training. (Power level: two of my three kids earn enough to support a middle class lifestyle exclusively from paid writing gigs.)

His holier than thou views on writing despite general lack of experience is at least something he's consistent with.

Well, he already got the alcohol and drug slurred speech, hedonistic degeneracy and "Dick is my internet daddy" part down.

Dick Masterson was personally responsible for crafting the "Ralphamale" persona, it was NOT Ralph's idea. Ralph was not much different than Matt Jarbo, just more charismatic, but otherwise mostly the same personality.

Dick wanted a character, he actually wanted Ralph to be a "southern gentleman" and dress up in white suits, but Rlaph lacks any sort of class, so Dick moved on to "raging white trash", and Ralph listened.

There even was a stream where Dick was talking and insisting Ralph needed to marry at the kingpin invitational, because "that's just who you are! Ack ack!".

Now he's doing the same to Rekieta, he's probably the one telling him to act like a retard behind the scenes.

I think he is well on his way to replacing Ralph at the top of the Sektur, he's got the right coach.
