The resurfacing of the beef wellington has sent me over the fucking edge. Why does it look like it's made from the souls of the damned? Why do I feel like it's watching me? Why did Rick just dump it whole onto a plate without cutting it first? I feel like human eyes were never meant to see this. Maybe this is what Lovecraft was getting at with 'go mad from the revelation', if by 'mad' he meant 'paralytic with laughter'.

you gave me the answer i could not find for myself. i glanced at the facebook pics he posted of that thing several times and while, yes, he destroyed that valuable piece of food, i couldn't figure out what was really wrong with it. then i read your post and realized: he didn't even cut it. i watched a lot of Hell's Kitchen (US) and those fuckers ruined plenty of beef wellingtons, but they were sliced down the middle and you could see inside them. now i'm left speechless and incapable of finding reason for the Madness of the Fat.

I thought it had been but that appears to have been a trick of the light I did go to his xeeter to find a higher resolution picture.

Also there appears to be a hair baked into it? Just looks like a giant almost burnt potato and those beans don't look good either. They're a bit charred in very few places other than that they just look greasy. Don't get the almonds at all though, is that a thing? None of this makes sense to me not unlike his shitty chili jam or most other things he does.

It's a real shame Rick is utterly buckbroken now and no longer posts stuff like this. It just confirms that he really is a truly hateable prick, to use a Bong term.
