Well you see, I have three pairs of snow boots. For example; one pair that are absolutely fantastic; waterproof and ice resistant but heavy af. another pair that are so so, lighter and prettier, waterproof but not for walking during a snow storm and another pair that are functional, waterproof but very stylish with fur trim.
I have one set of boots I use for everything casual, work, outside, and so on. If they get dirty or muddy I just wash them with a hose.

Have DA BAAAAWWWLS to assume nothing but good things about the people around you and take an extra moment to find joy in even the bleakest of situations. Understand that nothing in this world, especially not some silly woman, can ever harm your perfect eternal soul, so there's no reason why all your days can't be easy and care-free.

I’m part of a team that reviews HR cases to identify lessons learned and implement things. In the last several years it has become apparent that women see HR as a weapon they and only they get to wield. We’ve seen women run to HR if they disagreed with someone and wanted to fight dirty, I’ve seen women run to HR if they encounter something they disagree with politically and I’ve seen women run to HR if some gruff union mechanic tells a dumb woman with no experience telling him what to do to fuck off. In these cases, not once did the girls try to resolve the issues themselves or with their supervisors, nope it was right to HR.
It is interesting that in the sixties and even seventies, there was no such thing as Human Resources. Human Resources as a phenomenon grew out of the Civll Rights laws that prevent employers and companies from hiring who they choose under free commerce. Employers and companies now have to go through a process.
American Office is genuinely funny - The UK one is not, I have worked in a UK office and it's just an accurate depiction of one, very bleak, very hellish, very suicide inducing - but Michael would be absolutely nightmarish to work under. Just the fucking worst.

I used to feel really bad for the men in those situations, and depending I still do. But there's only so many red flags someone can avoid before they're doing it to themselves. Too many guys get in this desperate mindset where if they don't settle on the first girl that shows them attention, then they'll be alone for the rest of their lives. All I can hope is that more guys learn that people who love them won't abuse them and that they don't have to put up with bullshit because "they can take it".
It's funny how many guys have experience with women acting like this, but it's always disregarded as being hot or as nonexistent (or not as bad as what wamen go through). It makes you wonder.
The worst is if some lady coworker you're not into decides you're in the next chapter of her Love Quest. How aggressively she pursues you scales logarithmically with how absolutely Joever it is for you at that company. HR can't and won't do anything for you on account of your penis and realistically they'll find a way to paint you as the problem if they get involved in any way.
