Viva's brother Daniel, who seems to work a corporate lawyer job in Toronto the neighbouring province of Ontario, was presumably recruited by Viva back in February 2022 to drive down to Windsor, Ontario at the Detroit, Michigan border to cover the blockade at the Ambassador Bridge between the two countries during the Canadian trucker protest over COVID nonsense.
At this point, Viva has been covering the protest off/on over two weeks in Ottawa, Ontario, making bank, commuting from his then home of Montreal, Quebec several hours east.
A separate but in solidarity protest developed at the Ambassador Bridge in Windsor, Ontario after the truckers set up in the capital of Ottawa. This lasted for about a week. As opposed to the more publicized protest in Ottawa where a few hundred trucks symbolically parked in front of Parliament for 3 weeks, the Ambassador Bridge protest actually mattered economically as it essentially shut down the auto industry on both sides of the border. There is a separate tunnel for passenger traffic at Detroit/ Windsor that remained open, but commercial and industrial trucks couldn't pass through. The next border crossings were several hours east or west at Fort Erie or Sarnia.
So, the fact that the new solidarity bridge blockade protests actually hurt the oligarchs made them big mad and they cried for the premier of Ontario, Doug Ford to clear them out.
And he did. The weekend before Trudeau declared martial law on the truckers in the capital, Doug Ford sent in militarized police with armoured vehicles and snipers and automatic rifles to clear the bridge access on the Saturday morning. To push back a crowd that was mostly women, children and some little old Asian grannies linking arms and singing O Canada, along with a few pickup trucks and the odd semi.
Viva's brother's stream starts on the Sunday, the day after the bridge was cleared. Viva sent his brother because David (Viva) lives 12+ hours from the new protest site.
The police and protester standoff the day previous was mostly at a standstill. But then night fell, the normies got tired and cold, and the crowd dwindled.
The police waited for it to shrink to a few dozen, then they kettle everyone left at dawn, break the windows of the trucks to drag the drivers out and mass arrest anyone left.
Viva's brother Dan arrives on the Sunday after the blockade has already been cleared, as he lives several hours northeast of Detroit.
There's still some scattered protesters on the sidewalks but the police have full control of the roads and the Canadian access to the bridge (though they continue to keep it closed for several more days despite all the REEEing about muh economic damage).
So Dan Freiheit does some man on the street interviews with some leftover people. But then he gets caught up in the fray when remaining riot police start unconstitutionally kettling scattered protesters who are simply demonstrating on sidewalks and public property.
They advance in unison on Dan himself. He doesn't know what to do, so he pulls out his Law Society of Ontario membership card, declares himself as a lawyer and proclaims his right of freedom of assembly, as seen in the clip above
I think the experience really redpilled him.
Separate from Viva and after these events , he set up a
Lion Advocacy Twitter using his real name and separate from his day job where he speaks out and researches remaining COVID unconstitutional BS in Canada.
He's spoken out a several rallies in Toronto outside the College of Physicians and Surgeons office against policies such as closing public hearings to public access, revoking licenses from COVID dissenting doctors and having the regulator itself determine the only eligible criteria for jab exemptions.
He's also researched the sham of a vaccine injury program that Trudeau set up, contracting it out to a crony company, awarding compensation to only single digit # of claimants and spending 2/3 of funding on overhead.
He similarly spoke out about his own Law Society restricting unjabbed members from accessing their own Great Library long after other jab mandates had passed.
He's also personally contacted institutions like Toronto Public Health, Sick Kids Hospital, Western University (when the jab was a requirement for admission and continuation on campus) and the Ottawa Hospital (who recently reinstituted mask mandates indefinitely) to try to get official statements and documents re: whom is responsible for institutional-level policy and decision-making.
TL;DR - While Viva plays pretend lawyer/Rumble star from Florida for big money and adoration, it's his brother Dan who is back at home doing the real advocacy work in obscurity, in his free time and without compensation concerning causes that Viva bitches about.
