i had a childhood friend back in the day who went a similar route as BMJ. reminds me so much of him. he would freebase cocaine so it's technically crack but he makes it himself from the powdered coke he gets. add some baking soda + water and heat it up on tinfoil, then scrape it off and smokes it. gets you higher but for shorter lengths of time. it's what you do when you feel like cocaine isn't doing it for you as much anymore so you take it up a level.

He better be careful. I don't know his local laws, but I know a guy who went to jail because he was a methhead with schizophrenia. He would take antipsychotics that put him into really, really deep sleeps, and then his methhead friends would cook in his house because he'd not wake up during. In Florida, the home owner is liable for any cooking that takes place in their residence, even if they didn't even know about it.

my friend i mentioned in the earlier post was in the same situation as bmj. his parents just remained willfully ignorant. people coming and going like that's normal. always needing money. they just let it happen like everything was fine. he ended up in prison after he had to go out on his own. high probability of bmj ending up similarly.
