It could literally keep you alive. They're selling this fantasy where NJP takes power politically without any massive destabilization in vital systems occurring in the process.
To be fair, it would be pretty fucking stupid for them, whether they believe it or not, to say "don't give us money". I don't think the "homesteading is a distraction" take is wrong at face value, there certainly are people who will look for any political position possible to avoid confronting politics that are more uncomfortable but there's a big issue here, and that's how the guy telling you "xyz is just a distraction", his idea of "serious politics" is just believing everything he says at face value without any question and sending money to him and his friends. Outside of the above and encouraging his audience to proselytize to convince others to do the above as well, he has no alternative course of action to offer.

It does blur the lines between NJP and TRS even more. They want to pretend that NJP and TRS are seperate entities when they're obviously not, especially when Sven basically owns both. Mike is just a front man, which is an odd choice and the worst optical person to have as a front man. I'll say it, I don't think Warren is cut out for that sort of thing. He's just not. People see who he's surrounded with and by that relative measure he looks like the obvious choice for who should lead (if for no other reason than he's outwardly level headed, doesn't seem to be interested in gossip or drama, and isn't outwardly neurotic). The man comes across an autisté par excellence, however. I guess if that's the only option, but there's surely better people out there. At the very least, White people deserve better.

Sven makes the business decisions for TRS. He did manage his family's small business before TRS took off. He's the only one with any experience in that realm. Mike has said before that he doesn't like how Sven talks shit about subscribers or his decision to do the annoying free fag ads (the two things that have probably lost the most customers), but he does it anyway. At the very least Mike is too passive.

I already knew about sven running things on the trs side of things. I just think it's outlandish to say he's also running the njp side too. And yeah, its pretty dumb to handle things that way. If these guys were actually serious it would be tragic how a solid political cause was being held hostage by a manchild. But no, they're all manchildren, so it's a different kind of tragedy instead.
