What I don't understand is why Jim keeps shilling for them. Granted, he's not paying the sektur much attention any more but you'd think he would have tuned out the monotony of their show by now.

I unironically believe that Jim specifically hates Ralph so much that he props them up just to get under his skin. My guess is the shots he took at Jade were enough to do it, as Jim historically leaves unassociated family members out of whatever story he's telling, unless they play some pertinent role. And on the last Metokur/Ralph fight, it's easy to miss with all the hollering but you can tell Jim is pissed at Ralph. Hell, even on the last stream he did he took an incidental swipe at his redemption arc.

I think it's very easy to mistake Jim's attitude of 'no internet friends' for a total lack of morality or guiding principles. When he was railing against the concept of internet friends, he was specifically refuting the people that expected his fealty in whatever gayops they were running at the time. Sargon, Baked Alaska, etc. But he still probably isn't going to dox you or share private information on you without a damn good reason. So I really do think when Ralph started going after his girlfriend, he really did cross the line with him.
