I wouldn't be surprised if the mental abuse has already started and she's too dumb/"broken"/zonked out on whatever to notice (or has no way to communicate it). There was that business about Boogie adding a line to his cell plan a while back (bc he wanted a new iPhone). If he's got control over her phone at the account level, that's already more than he did to Lucy (where he removed her phone from her possession)... Even 10 years ago cell carriers provided ridiculous amounts of parental controls that let you define stuff like: websites you can't visit, people you can/can't contact, purchase limits, etc. You can also see stuff like phone location, call/text metadata, etc. If Boogie really does have control over Dez2's phone, I can't imagine it's not at least partially locked down or being monitored by Boogie.

This girl is already reliant on Boogie. He (presumably) sources her food, housing, and drugs. I don't know how much more Boogie has to do to brainwash the poor girl. Again, let's refer back to the signs of an abusive relationship

  • Cruelty to animals: Doesn't sufficiently walk the dogs, bit Sammy that one time, bought a dog solely to keep a girl around
  • Possessiveness: Probably. Look at how he trots her out on social media like a show animal
  • Controlling behavior/codependency: Look at how Boogie frames the relationship as being formed through "trauma bonding", how he (presumably) buys all her essentials. The cell phone thing, if proven, would be another example.
  • Gaslighting: Boogie does this to literally everyone.
  • Financial control: He's (presumably) buying everything she needs. Seems to try to mask this with the "wealthy helpful family" lie.
  • Blaming the victim and TRAUMA BONDING: Boogie literally used the words "trauma bonding" to describe the relationship. For the record, I don't think Boogie knows what "trauma bonding" means*, even if it does apply. If he did, he wouldn't have used the phrase out loud. Think Stockholm Syndrome.
  • Abuse of children: No kids to abuse, because Boogie is afraid he'd abuse them.
  • Accusing the victim of perceived slights: Boogie does this online all the time, why wouldn't he do it IRL?
  • Controlling the attire of the victim: See the Crocs post. See where Boogie said some clothes came from "a wealthy friend". Potentially the glasses too.
  • Demeaning behaviors and attitude: See the ferris wheel incident, where Boogie picked at Dez2's fear of heights
  • Publicly shaming the victim: Again, see the ferris wheel incident. He did this in public and uploaded it to social media
  • Over/underdose of victim's medication: We could potentially say the recreational drugs she's on would apply here. I obviously can't say if Boogie's fucking with the mental health meds I assume she needs.
  • Malnutrition: The girl's always looked anorexic, but she doesn't seem to be gaining weight AFAICT

If I'd had Boogie sized money, the first thing I would have done after having the stomach op and losing that first batch of weight is spent the money to get that excess skin removed. I'd have done that before I started ploughing money into crypto.

The idea that you lose the weight but you still have to wear a great big flesh dress is just appalling to me. If I didn't have the money to pay for it, I'd remortgage my fucking house to make sure that I got it done. It's going to be a continual encouragement to keep the weight off and keep losing it. If you've still got a mountain of flab hanging down to your knees, you'd still feel like shit about yourself, surely.

  • Verbal abuse: Definitely. Going on livestream to berate Mundane Matt, the way he threatened to kill Frank Hassle, the fact he admitted Dez was walking on eggshells around him and she signed an NDA. The verbal abuse also doesn't have to specifically be shouting. DMing a 16 year old Turkey Tom to tell him that "your videos make me suicidal" is manipulative and abusive.
  • Cruelty to animals: He threatened to take Sammy to the pound to win an online argument with Actual Jake. Also used Sammy as a pawn during his Frank Hassle arguments ("You can hurt me, just don't hurt my dog"). Sammy is a prop, a shield, a vehicle for asspats and way to win arguments. He is not viewed or loved as a pet should be. Boogie knows that dogs are national treasures and he takes advantage of this. (He also took Sammy to spite Dez).

As for whether he posts more about Dezi than Dez, I can't say for certain as I only followed his antics post-megathread. What I can say is that Boogie started talking about their sex life a lot more just before she left him.
