A lot of the critical comments don't have anything to do with troons or genderism directly but are addressing things like animal abuse and property destruction. Those are gender-agnostic issues that even other trans social media users have called out. This isn't to say that they couldn't be massaging the comments for some ulterior motive.

Seven years is a century in Internet time. I think the more likely explanation is that the culture has changed since then. People are getting tired of this stunning, brave trans shit and are realizing that it's a bunch of men in dresses doing man shit like raping field serfs and larping with guns. I must admit, socialists in agriculture have a long-established reputation for massive fail. Probably has something to do with the combination of being very labor-intensive and with precious little leeway for poor decision-making. Most farmers are extremely hard working and conservative for a reason. Being a violent parasite is not nearly as useful in a rural environment as it is in the cities. Likewise holding onto delusional economic ideas and an incredibly stupid secular religion devised by a 19th century crank is a massive disadvantage.

When you think about it, Pepe was the tranch personified. Personally, I recall the first few agps, before I or society at large knew what they were, emerging in the pages of Bizarre magazine in the 90s-00s. I recall that they were mostly involved in porn or extreme “arts”, but it was pretty clear they were trying to mold themselves into a postmodern post reality creature.
