Last year a bat got into the office. When everyone was in during the week it just hid, but I had to go in on a Saturday. It circled me and kept swooping at me when I was thr only one around. When I locked myself into a small office it kept flying by trying to find a way in. I saw the exterminator running around trying to catch it. I hope he caught and killed the rabid menace.

You've hit on the head exactly why donuts taste weird for me after a day. Better eat it hot and fresh, preferably with coffee (which, I so far never had with a donut, but I imagine it's amazing black, the bitterness contrasting with the sweetness).
I hate being sick. Then, you have to catch up on what you missed. Meanwhile, you have various results of feeling like crap. I imagine calling out sick at work takes some time.
