Right around the time Nick started getting serious pushback for going full degen and most of his old audience gave him the finger and started their exodus. I think either Nick didn't want her to be a target of ridicule, or she didn't want to be. I suspect she might have a greater sense of shame than Nick does.

There were two things that happened in the spring. People found a list of videos that she was watching and it got revealed she was watching clip videos of Nick. Then at the time of the "Mandy" stream, things seemed to completely blow up and she was off the internet.

As a completely unsubstantiated rumor, I would suggest that maybe some things said in the comments in those clips are and her reaction after reading them might have been a part of what drove her off the internet.

His camera setup doesn't help. Back in ye olden days he used a normal webcam which had a nice soft picture.
Then a couple years ago he went retarded and got a stupidly expensive 4k setup with uber harsh lighting that made him look like a corpse from day 1. With the added bonus of him having this expensive 4k setup but exporting the video from it in 720p. So you get the harsh reality of super high res with the blurry shitness of low res. It drove his editor, who used to be in rekieta's discord, absolutely fucking insane.

Why does a kid need to fucking picked up from anywhere that late? I've asked this question before, since it seems to happen a lot, and people have brought up that maybe the kids have activities in other towns (since Spicer is so small) and it's a significant trip back and forth. Xia's show ran from 8pm to 11pm and Nick was on almost all three hours of it. So he had to pick up a kid that was at least 30 minutes away. Why the hell is a kid need to be picked up so late in such a small town?

I live in a rural town that is about 10 times the size of Spicer and everything shuts down by 8pm, the only exception is a bar and fast food places. Maybe the 15 year old has a job at a fast food place, but why would he be working such a late shift?

EDIT: I just checked, most resturants in Spicer close at 9pm, a few at 10pm and many others at 8pm. The only exception is a McDonald's and bars (and we know the kid isn't working a bar). There are a lot more places in Wilmer (15 minutes from Spicer) that close much later, but it's a bigger town, so makes sense. I can only guess that is the only reason. In MN a 15 year-old can get a learner's permit, but must require an adult be in the vehicle.

Another Edit: All of this is moot. In MN, a 15 year-old cannot work past 9pm.

Also, what's funny, the first link the external links section for Spicer, MN (SpicerMN.com) links to some weird website.

Really? I’m not religious these days, but growing up I had to go to church twice a week and attend Sunday school after 7 am mass. My family quite literally never spoke to anyone at the church before or after the service. They’d go, listen to it, then leave to grab breakfast at ihop. The concept of a community around the church just seems foreign to me.

This has been my experience with organized religion as well.

Very turnkey. Purely out of obligation. No one even acknowledge any philosophies teachings on the outside once it's over.

That being said, I think it's also a function of the size of the town you live in.

I've gone to some church services on Indian reservations where the church basement also functions as the breakfast buffet/bingo hall/hockey fundraiser/funeral home, which was a very different experience.

I hate to balldo guard but as a teen my dad would pick me up from hanging at a friend's house around 9-10pm or concerts on a weeknight would end around 11pm. We also have a Wendy's that usually opened til midnight. Idk if they still do that.
