I've only heard it used in relation to people who find movie monsters sexually attractive. It is a big thing on Tumblr and among the ex-Tumblr crowd on Twitter. Popular targets of affection are Pennywise from IT, Venom from the Venom comics/movies, and that fish monster thing from the movie I forget the name of.

I have not heard of many transwomen (as opposed to actual females) being into it so he might be referring to something different though.

Edit: I found this "monster fucker iceberg" when I googled to make sure I was getting the term right and I have to admit it's pretty funny:

Typically "teratophiliacs" are into monstrous creatures that *look* scary but have personalities that are the opposite of monstrous.
The mildest example I can give is Beauty & The Beast, especially with Disney's Beast design - a monstrous creature that lashes out but is tamed when shown humanity. He looks beastly, he has horns, fangs and claws, the works.
More recently, lonely internet virgins with little to no social life offline have really latched onto this whole "awfully grotesque creature that secretly is a softie and loves me despite my homely face and obese body"

Also some of these monster fuckers get off to the idea that they're fucking eldritch horrors that could kill them, but don't. Think JustinRPG's fascination with Reshirayum but not necessarily including the vore parts.

TLDR they're Great Value furries and their attraction to grotesque, ugly or scary monsters is often rooted in low self esteem and a lack of social circles harboured by kissless, handholdless turbo virgins.

I was at a chain fabric store, and the checkout lady asked if I had an account. The one my number pulled up still had my dead name on it. I wanted to share some happy stuff I’ve encountered recently:

Today at work a delivery driver came into the restaurant waving his hands and exclaimed “Brother brother! I have to use the bathroom!” I directed him towards the restroom and when he came out he gave me a big grin and started laughing. It felt like such a silly dude moment, both to be called brother and to have someone be so unashamed about having to take an emergency dump lol.

The other one is, I was at the beach the other day rinsing off in the open air shower with my shirt off, scars out. An older trans woman came speeding by on a unicycle and we both immediately smiled so big at each other and waved like crazy. Such a joyful moment of recognition!

I felt really insecure when I first started T because of my extreme hourglass shape.
In my first year, my hips and thighs even got larger than they'd ever been.
During that time, I relied on other people's progress pictures to keep me positive so here's mines.

First picture is at 11 months on T, and second picture is 2 years on T. Both pictures show me at rest (not flexing).
In the second picture, I'm 10 months post Top, and 4 months post Hysto (had everything removed).
I've been working out consistently since 1y on T, except for about two months after each surgery. You can see how much my shape has transformed, and this includes a flatter backside (to my great pleasure). I'm not at my goal shape yet but I'm really happy with what I've got. Feel free to ask me about my surgeries, how I've handled T, or my current training plan.
Honestly, I can't tell what's different about her aside from the weight loss and hair growth. She still has the tummy pooch thingie that all women have to some degree, she still has very visibly feminine hips.

I've started taking this natural supplement that has turned my libido into a beast. My girlfriend and I have an intense D/s dynamic.
