2023 Israel-Palestine Armed Conflict

Probably overwhelmed. Only so many missiles you can have on hand ready to fire and reloading is generally slow.
Or it could have been operated by retarded conscripts. The Isreali military has a lot of issues with readiness and motivation (like Western militaries). I wouldn't be surprised if the guys manning the system were fucking off or didn't even know how to fully operate it. The fact that so many IDF soliders are being slaughtered leads me to believe they weren't training for this kind of surprise attack or expected one to ever happen.

big if true. If I was Israeli I would want to be shot than be hell taken alive. 1696664120963.png

This is weird. Besides the fact Israel is ignoring a slow paraglider (or paragliderS -- might be Gaza's version of paratroopers?) just casually flying from Gaza into Israel really makes Israel look BAD. Also, unless the paraglider pilot is Rambo/Master Chief, the cost/risk of flying a slow/conspicuous paraglider into southern Israel for an invasion is just insane.

This just made the weekend more interesting ngl...
This is like some rust shit lmao
The Shit is Mad Max. Paragliders, motorcycles, in the desert.
Lol the Israelis should have ethnically cleansed the Palestinians in 67 and 73. Now they have to deal with this shit.

Welp, hopefully the "world's biggest open air prison" enjoys being fucking smashed.
Australia still exists.
Oh cool I can't wait for us to spend hundreds of billions of dollars more on this shitshow while accomplishing nothing.
Did congress finish their bullshit budget spending crisis stuff? I don't follow faked drama, if not I'm guessing this is going to be on the bill for funding now as they all "come together" to support Israel some fucking more.

this is Israeli settlers running away supposedly.
I don't think those are "Israeli Settlers" -- aren't Israeli Settlers supposed to be Israelis living in internationally-defined Palestinian territory? These are likely Israelis living is Sderot, which is not in Palestine proper...

...Unless you're just going to say all Israelis are "occupiers" of Greater Palestine, which okay then.
Yup, all the nasty shit Israel has used and abused the US with for the past few decades makes it hard for me to feel too bad for em.
I just mostly hope it was military / government officials that took the brunt. I doubt it though.
Palestinians aren't going to make things better if they get their way though. The neutral realpolitik in me thinks Israel is better than a Palestinian terror-state.

They are also used to Mossad being on top of this kind of stuff. Normally this plan would have been aborted by a bunch of Hamas commanders getting drone striked or committing suicide by 10 bullets to the back of the head. The fact that this happened with apparently no warning is an incredible intelligence failure.

Tinfoil hat time.
There's been a lot of internal conflict in Israel with two factions and open riots and fighting on the streets in the past year or so.

Government let this happen intentionally to crack down on a faction quickly and use it as an excuse to go to war with Palestine and finish it up finally.

How exactly do you declare war on an entity you refuse to recognize as a country?

Israel loves their false flags, but if they were going to do that it probably would have been a bus full of American evangelical tourists visiting Jerusalem. Letting a bunch of Israelis die would probably be a bridge too far even for Mossad.

I'll add onto the tinfoil too:

Given how immediately the Armenian/Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh region "fixed itself" with Azerbaijan annexing it back, I wonder if Israel (who has been selling arms to the Turks and Azeris) was watching and thought now would be a good time to answer the Gaza question permanently?

War on Terrorism. Just start waving a flag already!

Depends, what area was it? Was it Orthodox or more Liberal?
Never underestimate a government's willingness to sacrifice its own populace out of spite for someone or to "the greater good."
And we haven't gotten all the details yet could easily have been a bus of Americans out there!
