Where are my fellow shipposters?

What's your favourite ships? For me I've always liked the design of the SS Rotterdam.

The SS Normandie is also a nice design.

"Madame, God Himself could not sink this ship."
- Famous last words

Fun fact: No one involved in the Titanic's construction or design ever believed her to be unsinkable. They believed her to be practically unsinkable, practically being the word -- the idea was moreso that she'd be able to stay afloat long enough to act as her own lifeboat until assistance arrived to rescue passenger and crew.
I always thought the RMS Lusitania (RIP) was always a grand ship

Another one of my favourites. There's just something timeless and classy about the age of four funnelled ships.

I like Viking ships. They're pretty cool.

I'd wanna conquer other nations in one of these motherfuckers.

This thread just reminded me of when I was like 5, my teacher got mad at me for saying "ship", because she thought I said "shit".

The Islands here have a festival at New Years in which they spend the night with burning torches and burn a viking longship.
