Israel would have to totally surround Gaza City like the way the US Marines besieged Fallujah during Phantom Fury, only once that is done could they possibly go door to door clearing houses. But there is a HUGE fucking gap in capability between irregular forces from 2006 to today. The proliferation of drones and the increased potency of ATGM and Manpad make urban warfare a really grim affair, Bakhmut is a prime example of this. The last time Israel attempted urban warfare was during the 2006 invasion of Lebanon and they got stone walled so fucking hard that the entire invasion was a failure, not to mention they had more casualties than Hezbollah. I fully expect the Palestinians to slinky in and out like they have been then immediately retract upon contact with the IDF. From there its just going to be Israel hurling munitions into Gaza and dropping every single high rise building from afar before claiming victory.

Lmao at all the people in this thread who think this problem will be solved once and for all by either exterminating or expelling all the Palestinians and legally recognizing their former territory as Israel's. Remember that Israel invaded the Sinai in 1956 and 1967 with the intent to annex it, invaded southern Lebanon in 1982 with the intent to annex it, and still illegally occupy the Syrian Golan after invading it in 1967. Also keep in mind that the reason Gaza and the West Bank are considered disputed Israeli territory in the first place is because Israel seized them when they initiated the Six Day War.

More than likely, if Israel did manage to wipe out the Palestinians one way or another, the Israeli government would just declare their new "legitimate" borders to actually extend deeper into neighboring countries, insist the Arabs living in these areas are evil terrorist occupiers threatening the Jewishness of their state, then the bombing/bulldozing/insurgency stuff will start up all over again. Then, if the Israelis wipe those new Arabs out, they'll expand their "legitimate" borders again.

You know how the ADL has truly won and assumed total mind control of most citizens? Go read the comments in the Israel threads about the conflict. Every Redditor has completely bought in and might as well be advocating ethnic cleansing in Gaza. I remember years ago when lefty Redditors used to actually criticize Israel or at least recognize them semi culpable for the rise in conflict.
Who will the Redditards simp harder for, AOC or Israel?
'The Squad' keeps inciting antisemitism, Democrats keep accepting it

Especially since all of them without exception assume the people conducting the causal acts are themselves unwitting pawns without any agency whatsoever
Oh dear, who wants to tell him?

I really can't blame conspiracy folks having a field day with this. How tf does CIA and Mossad miss this shit coming up?
Simple explanation: Retards, inefficiency and diversity hires, like most other governmental agencies. CIA is also not the power /pol/ memed them into being, arguably NSA is more dangerous since they're the ones sitting on all the info in the world(and collecting it)
Either way, whoever dropped the ball on this REALLY dun goofed

I wonder what will happen if Israel said Assad must go.

Phantom Fury was an operation where the goal was to preserve the city in its state, while getting rid of the terrorist elements there. Israel on the other seems to be gearing up for a scrupulously "legal" operation. They won't have to go door to door at all. The moment they take fire from a building, they are probably going to blow it up with artillery or air strikes. This is not going to be door to door. Its going to be recon by fire. A very different beast. They aren't going to clear the buildings. If a building is being used as a fire position, they are just going to destroy it, and kill everyone inside.

Whats Palestines plan here? They dont have the technology nor the funding to go toe to toe with Israel. This is a death wish for them.
I mean it’s sort of a death wish if they do nothing and accept their slow replacement as it is.

I think their logic with this big successful surprise attack is to hopefully inspire neighbor allies like Hezbollah and Iran to get into the mix.
