1. They are living with grandparents because "mommy is unstable and daddy is working". Most plausible. Maybe he only dropped them off before/after Elora left but not many mothers I know, even profoundly retarded ones, will abandon their kids to do a fucking survivalist trip for months, nor will grandparents never report anything for an untraceable absence that long in duration. This seems plausible but not sure if he would give up control of the kids because he clearly runs this whole situation but maybe Elora and JF are genuinely incapable of caring for two small children for whatever reason and it meant he didn't have to deal with them after she left? Maybe they live there most of the time or all of the time already? This would have allowed him to work on the house and it's why his streaming schedule is still unchanged. It's why he doesn't care about the mother of his children missing because they don't normally live there usually or at all so he doesn't see the fallout. However it would open the door to them applying for custody of the kids long term (or supporting Elora to do so with their assistance) and maybe that's what Elora may have floated during an argument that ended in her death.
2. They are living with JF and a nanny. Not sure if he has the money to do this but a nanny may have allowed him to gut the house as thoroughly and swiftly as he did, and autists generally can't cope with children. If he had to suddenly raise two under fives in his home alone I think he'd be a lot more angry about his potato leaving him to do all of the womanly work around the house and with his projects. However I'm not sure a nanny would tolerate his behavior or the situation she was watching unfold... If there is a nanny or a few of them, I'm sure there's grilling as we speak. The kids would also be very upset at the sudden vanishing of their mother and start having behavioural issues which he couldn't deal with alone either.
3. They are living at home with JF and nobody else. This is the most unlikely option for me, unless he's sending them to daycare, and even then its unlikely for me. I don't think he can cope with the extreme emotions of children or the constant cleaning/care and it just doesn't work for their low tolerance for frustration. I don't think they're alone at home with him. Autists cannot handle kids without meltdowns of their own or shutdowns and they'd rather palm them off than be directly involved. 100% they do not live with him unsupervised. I've seen guys like him with kids, they get angry and frustrated quickly because they can't regulate or make sense of the extreme emotions of children. They burn out very fast and join them in tantrums. He's definitely not changing nappies for the 1yo either, can you imagine? Lol. The children would also be interrupting streams at least once in the last four months, we all saw what happened with reporters during lockdown.
As for what happened to Elora, I'm guessing (if the drop off at the gas station is unverifiable) she wanted to leave and take the children with her because she and/or the kids were afraid of him, she was very serious about leaving with them or tried to, and he either tard raged too much by accident or he just eliminated the complication outright knowing that nobody would notice she was gone for a long time because he'd successfully isolated her. If it wasn't a lie and he did drop her off to go bush after a spat, she either went back or he picked her up soon after when things had cooled down, and he was already prepared to get rid of her so she couldn't take the kids and leave if that was threatened before she left.
