2023 Israel-Palestine Armed Conflict

Dunno if anyone brought this (Article) up before, but a bit before the attack some American destroyed some Roman statues. Specifically, he destroyed two statues; one of the goddess Athena, and the other one dedicated to the goddess Nemesis.

"Police say the man damaged the statues because he said they were "against the Torah", Judaism's most important text.

His lawyer has denied that he had acted out of religious fanaticism, according to the AP news agency."

Listen, I'm not Greek. Or Roman. But realistically, these are probably the worst two deities to get on the bad foot with in anyone's position, least of all in the state of Israel.

Edit: For context, Athena is a lampshade goddess of multiple things including warfare, wisdom, and specifically for this instance revenge. Nemesis I don't think I have to explain much about, it's in her name, but the extra spice to it is that she "personifies retribution for the sin of hubris: arrogance before the gods". Also, they were dated to be from the second century.
I'm fucking sneeding.
It was an American who carried out the attack, so why wasn't the goddess' wrath directed at America?

Checks out.

Got a call at 5 in the morning I'm going to reserve duty. I don't expect to be in any danger zones but if I stop commenting then know I died for glorious nation of Israel. Also it already puts me at a higher position than most internet tough guys.
Stay safe lad. Keep your head down, keep shooting, keep talking to your team.

Not yet. He's too busy shilling his DSOTM re-recording. Which I just found about tonight.
Last night I watched Deadwingdork’s stream archive of him critiquing NostalgiaCritic’s godawful The Wall “review” and it reminded me Roger Waters exists and has opinions critical of Israel 🤔

One of the things about modernity is since there is no privacy now we’re going to see what it's like to see humanity at its ugliest.
“I love people, people are great. You can sit down with any one person and in 10 minutes resolve any differences amicably. People in groups of 3 or more? They’re fucking cancer. They are mentally handicapped assholes who spend each moment begging for apocalypse and trust me, they’ll work for it.”

That’s rung true for all my 50+ years of my life, man. That’s what the internet is.

If Hamas stays off the internet and radio for comms and doesn't carry cellphones then they are basically invisible in the modern world when operating in friendly communities.
Imagine you're an intelligence analyst or a section chief and you're sitting at your super-duper, ultra-modern, futuristic-looking console in a command center somewhere with an array of multiple monitors giving you real-time communications intercepts, satellite feeds, social media chatter, telephone conversations, photos, profiles, maps, movements, assessments--a flood of data so vast and fast-moving the feeling must be almost godlike. You see all, know all. Except you don't. Your enemy knows you over-rely on tech and blow off HUMINT. Unlike you, he adapts. He improvises. He knows he's not playing a fucking videogame and he's in it to win it.

I posit greater technological complexity in any given weapons or intelligence-gathering system is more susceptible to failure than more primitive but also more direct methods and means. I stick to iron sights on my favorite rifle because I know those sights, spartan as they are, won't fail me. I prefer a snubby revolver over a semiautomatic as my EDC because I trust the revolver to go bang every time. Reliability is preferable to any other quality when it comes to either weapon or approach.

Someone remind me how many hundreds of thousands of tax dollars does it cost to just fuel one of these ships for this trip...

Are you retarded? drinking lead paint? I was saying that's what real rape looks like, that woman is broken and traumatized, or what you think that time you got drunk and fucked some guy at the bar even compares to what that woman just went thru?

Fucking femcels...
Not a femcel, sport. But as I said, I’ll discuss elsewhere. There’s a war going on, and your gratuitous, opportunistic efforts to bitch at women who do in fact fucking know what “real rape” is aren’t apposite here.

listen, I was in the IDF and I can solidly tell you that none of those people were shot with a "butterfly bullet" they were shot with a 50 Cal(more like a 0.336 bullet) Bullet from an HTR-2000 also known as Barak, how do I know? A sniper that did rookie training with me literally shot at 44 knees with those, a butterfly bullet "explodes" the impact from a 50 cal just vaporizes the leg basically

Quick Edit I think I made one off topic post and got threadbanned, so if u wanna see more info-dumps Ill post them on my account wall
No, the expanding bullet bit comes from an old Hague convention clause. If you didn't sign it, they can't do much
True, though there are many short-term and long-term reasons to operate within international law (or at least not to obviously flout it, signatory or not).

That said, a 50 caliber - expanding or not - can blow apart bodies/flesh, depending on on where and how.

Indians are Israel sycophants, I never knew that India loved Israel so much you could say I am touched, but the distinct smell of the poos mean I have to be at least 2 meters away from them, do any of you know the specifics as to why I know they have their own west bank situation (kashmir) but is it really because we just sell them a shit ton of weapons?
This always did confuse me. I get why America loves the Jews and Israel (Judeo-Christian laws or something) but it seems strange that India sucks Jewish cock as much as America. Maybe it's because Indian men don't creep out Khazar milkers?

Who needs sleeper cells when you can walk around unashamedly and unrestricted like this. :story:
If Israel is as effective a puppetmaster as the right claims them to be, it shouldn’t be that hard to have these folks be identified and deported the minute they commit a crime.

Ok, hold up, wait a minute. You claim to be on the right yet won't them have a gay rally for a war thousands of miles away. I think they're retarded, but taking their freedom to support the sand nogs means you can't have a isreali rally either. Just saying.
I think it’s a mixture of 1. Being a rally in support of actions caused by a group designated as terrorists by the U.S., and 2. Not wanting a repeat of Iraq. Along with a real “not my problem” approach to the conflict.

Also, the dissident right hates Israel and the Jews. A lot.

Was anyone else surprised to hear that registrations were closed shortly after the news of this broke and we got special reports from network TV?
