Interesting the mention of living in a “triplex” I’m going to guess this is where JF is currently living and would explain how the kids are being raised by grandma. I figure the wife and kids got him bumped up to the biggest and best floor of the triplex, grandma on another and now the two brothers have to share a floor (or maybe by some miracle one of MotherJF’s son’s actually moved away from mom).

JF says that he lives off his show and some unspecified contract work and that he lived paycheck to paycheck before Momma JF left. Two months after she left, he now feels like "a fucking millionaire."
Interesting how much he studied Dexter and how to get away with murder. I particularly found the line "The best type of murder is one you don't have to commit" pretty fascinating. I agreed initially that, in the event that the sighting of Mama JF is accurate and true, that it would be unlikely that he would then drive out to kill her. However, would it be out of the realm of possibility for someone like him to hire someone to do it for him? Because that's what I've been thinking the moment this story came out. It would remove him from the guilt of having done anything wrong, because all he did was just drop her off somewhere. Then, even if she showed up dead, it would still come to nothing because his "electronic traces" place him far away from her disappearance. The investigators only hope in this case would be to find some sort of evidence of him contacting a hitman, and even though JF can act and say really stupid shit sometimes, I'm sure he'd be smart enough to not leave evidence behind of him doing this.

Thanks, I really enjoyed reading your ideas about what might have happened. Same with your earlier post. Lots of novel insight in both of them - very plausible conflicts that you often see when couples fight. It definitely makes sense that JF could have dropped Elora off in anger during a fight, then gone back to get her later.
