I am expecting a lot of companies to now take this stance since Hamas started threatening the hostages.

People unfortunately want companies to take a stance on these issues, even though the companies just do it for PR. They were all about freeing Palestine until recently. I bet all the NPC’s will suddenly stop supporting Palestine because they need someone else to think for them.

Hamas won in the only way they could win, storming israel and taking some hostages, offing them as a final "fuck you" to israel is a pretty big cherry on top. It's not like they are going to have a way out of this alive either way, so why not.

What i meant is that if they saw any other way to get out of this they would not go with ISIS execution threats, because hamas has always been extremely concerned with pr (using hospitals as ammo dumps and all that shit).
So they are backed into a corner and they know it, no hope that other countries will save them, or that the UN will force israel to stop, no hope of actually stopping the IDF.

If israel's plan was to just desecrate all Palestinians, you'd think they would just be dropping MOABS right now to get it over with, while support is at its highest. From what i've seen, they are mobilizing troops, and engaging with Hamas in segments. Pushing them out, and not desecrating civilians. Iran, however, has everything to gain by pushing israel into senseless violence, and israel stands to loose all of its progress it has made by not showing any restraint. They didnt need to start a conflict to continue to do what they were already doing with the settlements, and Iran/hamas needed an intervention to halt the way things were currently heading.
