You asked on MATI recently if anyone still listens to Dick regularly and I do as something to have on in the background. I’d clip if I knew how but he chimped out on you even more about how you said Erik July could have used lethal force.

Crow has been served at the Nick and Dick dinner table, but their fragile egos will prevent them from eating it.
my reaction to this information

I am really concerned about this doxxing/harassment podcast called THE DICK SHOW. It appears they even go out and find people in real life to fuck with them.. creepy....

Really is a small world.
Except it's not a coincidence at all. Riley was Dick's producer and friend for years and apparently still is.

My armchair lawyer take on this is that if Riley does get in trouble in Texas for stalking it will bolster civil claims against Dick, though I am still iffy if such a lawsuit is a good idea because I bet Dick still wagers he can make money off the Patreon bump.

Riley please, don't listen to these Karen Farmers. What you did was both hilarious and masculine, and you should do more hilarious masculine things like it. However, I noticed your shirt was a bit ill-fitting for the situation and found you a suitable replacement:

Now the largest size it comes in is 2XL but I figured you could buy two of them and have Mint Salad stitch them together. Godspeed, our warrior :semperfidelis:

If Riley does get shot and killed, Dick will probably milk it as much as possible, I can see him selling shirts saying RIP Riley, he dindu nuffin, calling Eric July a murderer, etc
He would. Then he pawn Mint to another crack addict.
You know I cringed hearing his response to Nick on his reasoning for fucking with Eric July. I could only imagine what'd he say if Riley dies.
"You see Nick, Riley had to die because I think Eric July's comic book is bad. That was why I want to ruin his business. That was why I got one of my pet retards to go to his business. That was why this retard got arrested. That was why he was niggering out and got shot for going back to Eric July's business again.
Because I didn't like Eric July's comic book and you know some shit about bad art not being allowed to exist. I'm not a lolcow by the way."

Is there a second part that we aren't hearing about? I'm surprised at a stalking charge since that typically requires a bit more than the petty shit we've heard about.

Also:
  • A first-time offense of stalking in Texas is generally considered a third-degree felony. The penalties can include a fine of up to $10,000 and a prison sentence of 2 to 10 years.

God I hope he goes back and fucking soon. ALSO I love Riley trying to be cordial with Ralph now, when after the gunt-fight he was too much of a pussy to even think of joining TDS to talk to Ralph, purely because Ralph is still friends with daddy Juju.
Also, I'm not a lawcow like Rekieta, but this sounds like the definite intent to repeat his felony actions. Maybe a real lawyer should look at this and discuss the situation! Oh, and what would happen if instead of going himself, Riley intends to sent Mint to do his dirty work? Would he still get the long dick of the law inside him for coercing someone to comit a felony for him?

What the fuck are you talking about?
Riley has:
  • Stolen July's copyright to make his retarded "Clippaverse" shit
  • Posted tweets, tagging July, with non-vague threats about vigilante-ism while holding firearms
  • Appeared at July's place of business with statements that can easily be taken as threats
Is July supposed to let this fat faggot continue fucking with him, or can he take a legal option that is supposed to discourage Riley from being a fat faggot while simultaneously give himself a legal out should he have to shoot the dumbass?

He'd get legally reamed while knowing that he got his potato shot for being fucking retarded.

Nobody is saying that, I'm just wondering why stalking specifically. Typically, you'd expect harassment or some local variation and a related restraining order/trespass prior to catching a felony. The firearm shit is probably what escalated it.

The way I read it is that he was arrested for stalking. I don't know that its absolutely clear that he has actually been charged with stalking. Eric July probably had good security which led to a really good police response. Just arresting him for stalking creates a police record of what happened that can be used against him if he does it again. If they did charge him, the usual thing would be to offer him a deal where agrees to stop bothering Eric July in exchange for the charges being dropped. Usually only if he doesn't listen to reason and doesn't knock it off do the serious punishments start. But he may have done something that led to a charge. Just staying around the building long enough for the police to show up to arrest him was incredibly stupid.

Didn't Riley admit he hung around the area for hours both times he went to Eric's office? Combined with his online behavior, that might have bumped up the charge.

Looks like Riley made a bit of a miscalculation when it came to being a nuisance. Texas appears to have a very broad definition of harassment.
Sec. 42.07. HARASSMENT. (a) A person commits an offense if, with intent to harass, annoy, alarm, abuse, torment, or embarrass another
This then appears to become stalking if the harassment is repeated and or knows the person receiving the harassment will regard it as threatening.
Sec. 42.072. STALKING. (a) A person commits an offense if the person, on more than one occasion and pursuant to the same scheme or course of conduct that is directed at a specific other person, knowingly engages in conduct that: (1) constitutes an offense under Section 42.07, or that the actor knows or reasonably should know the other person will regard as threatening:
Texas has been busy and recently updated both their harassment and stalking laws effective September 1st, 2023. The harassment changes mainly involve tracking applications but also include:
physically following the applicant
While the changes to the stalking section, applicable to this instance, add the terms
terrified, intimidated
to the list of descriptors for stalking. While harassment in Texas starts as a "Class B misdemeanor", stalking starts as a "felony of the third degree".
Everyone here can debate till the cows come home on the rhetoric and minutiae of the broad statue. The police had enough confidence to charge him write and incident report. now the lawyers get paid to argue if what he did was stalking through citation of the statue and previous examples of people who have been found guilty of the same crime.
Gist of this whole ordeal is Riley decided to fuck around and found out. Now he either gets to take state appointed representation or shell out money to get a lawyer who will probably try to just get a plea of harassment with a probational sentence.

The entire purpose of this stunt was entertainment in the pursuit of money and appears to be a total loss.

July should NOT sue Dick. Masterson is looking for Maddox 2.0. That's a trap. It's still doubtful any of Dick's ball lickers have inflicted any serious financial loss of July anyways.

What July should do is quietly continue to collect all the information concerning Riley's stalking and harassment and quietly pass it on to the authorities. If Riley were ever arraigned on this shit, Dick (and probably Nick) would lose their shit, and it will lead to a glorious meltdown that'll make both of them look even more insane. By necessity, Dick and Nick will then have to act more in opposition toward the government than July.

Then, hopefully (and I'm perhaps I'm being super optimistic here) it'll dawn on at least some of the Dickheads that Dick and Vito are egging on some really stupid and potentially life ruinous behavior and this shit has gone too far now. This whole thing is asinine. It's over Vito being slighted by July and Vito not liking July's comic book. Sane people don't do this. It was dumb before, but transitioning it into the real world is flat out batshit.

Riley caught a felony lol
I'm actually shocked. Suck it you pathetic little manlet. I hope he gets raped and murdered in prison.

My guess is they just happened to have this new statute and were looking for a reason to use it, and this dumb fuck managed to fall into the new area it looks like the legislature tried to expand into, so they decided "hey this is a great case to try this out."

Great jerb, midget.

The humor is in the serendipity and timing. Not what fucking type of race cars they were.
And I totally missed the very concept of this midget somehow copping a felony rap on this. To be fair, I had no idea that barely over a month ago, Texas had suddenly passed some sweeping enhancement to their harassment law, but I still think I would have looked like an utter mongoloid if I'd predicted yeah, he's gonna get charged with a felony.

Texas recently expanded its harassment statute and apparently we have some prosecutor looking to make his bones.

If Riley were ever arraigned on this shit
Did you miss the charges?
Arraignment is where they bring the defendant before the court and formally read out the charges. Right now, it appears to be very early in the process, with the only document posted thus far being a police report.

I'm only using conditional language here because these things can and something do fall apart at some point. Please rest assured, my fingers and toes are crossed though.
