Most men and women are responsible in some ways for their deaths.

They don't heed the warnings, stay in the warzone, or even travel more to the war zone.

A dog however in mostly innocent when it's killed by a human (when it's no aggressive).

An integral part of the Islamic worldview is martyrdom. They are willing to fight and die for their convictions which make them an incredibly difficult adversary to face.

This war is shaping up to be brutal for both sides of the conflict. What lies ahead is a year-long war of attrition where there isn't going to be a definitive victor. Even Hamas by itself without assistance from it's allies in the region will take years to neutralize given it's decentralized command and ideological drive.

Israel is in a very difficult situation and should focus on pulling in as much Western support as possible - which is the only path to "victory" in this situation. As it stands now Hamas has picked the best time to launch an offensive due to the waning support of Israel and the current geopolitical climate. No Western nations are in the position to provide support without running into a whole slew of issues internally.

Being willing to die for your beliefs is courage, even if the underlying act is vile beyond belief. It's not like there was some way they could have done 9/11 without dying. It isn't defending the action itself so much as recognizing that if you don't understand the mentality of the enemy they already have an advantage.

He can't hold a thought for more than two or three minutes at a time, he's just going to interject some inane shit and slow everything down.
It must be infuriating being in a briefing with him.
My wife's grandfather had dementia and God love him but he was annoying and frustrating as shit and he'd get belligerent for no reason.
Biden is a fucking joke and tbh a big part of the reason shit is kicking off all over the world from Ukraine to Israel is having a weak old dementia patient in the White House.
Even if he is just a puppet it still makes us look bad.

More on subject, I have immense sympathy for the families and innocents caught up in this shit, and very little like for the IDF or Israeli government, but the people of Israel are in an impossible situation. Hamas are fucking scum that hide behind civilians, and after the sheer barbarity of the shit they just pulled, I couldn't blame Israel for levelling that whole rats nest.
I just hope the civillians get themselves and their families out before it happens, if the IDF even give them that option, which is looking doubtful.
The alternative to ending the problem now is more years of internecine war.
In the long run it will cost more lives to hold back.
Better to finish it now.
Hamas knew what they were starting by acting like the fucking Mongol Golden Horde. If they didn't they're stupid.
Don't start a war of annihilation you can't finish.

The only flex I can see the EU doing is chartering the AIDA cruise fleet to sea rescue those poor Palis straight out of Gaza into German small-town suburbs.

Let's hope they play 3 monkeys with this whole conflict. Better concentrate on Putin again. His refugees are already here.

From what I've seen of the mainstream media coverage here they're skewing very "muh poor Palestinians being bullied by big bad Israel" with not much coverage of the insisting event outside of it being "terrorist strikes", so trying to make it look like a massive Israel overreaction and rile up the muzzies.
