I don't get why people are watching the stream, seems pretty grim and your description makes it seem horrible.

The Modern Jews are only distantly related to the Ancient Hebrews, who, in their very own bible, explicitly detail their eradication of the Canaanites. The Canaanites as far as we know are the most distant inhabitants of that region. The Hebrews were related to other inhabitants of the area like the Moabites and the Edomites. The Hebrews were by their own tradition outsiders who came to Israel because it was promised to them. The Modern State exists on the same premise of a ‘promised land’ and has nothing to do with who was there first. As far as I’m concerned, the betrayal of the Jews against Jesus severed that promise and with the Resurrection the covenant between God and the Jews is fulfilled, so the Jews have no additional claim to that land beyond what their own sovereignty allows, made clear by the destruction of the temple by the Romans in late antiquity.
