I'm sure it's been said before, but I miss back when SomeOrdinaryGamers used to cover stuff like deep web browsing and creepypastas/trollpastas. Granted most of the creepypastas were shitty, but I found it fun nonetheless. Now it's just another one of those dime-a-dozen news/commentary channels. He's even taken down a good chunk of the old creepypasta videos. Once in a blue moon he'll upload something along those lines, but for the most part he's just become brown Critikal.

Who went way downhill after face-revealing

Back in those days Mutahar's channel used to be the most chill content on all of youtube. The creepypastas were mostly terrible but he would still take them seriously and deliver a quality reading. Sometimes the good ones would actually make for quite an exciting video because Muta was a softie and he'd get physically sick from reading the nightmare scenes in Funnymouth and all that shit. It was a really comfy time.
Out of longing for those good times I can't bring myself to unsub from his channel on the off chance he still produces interesting and sane videos from time to time, but it makes me sad to see how badly he's succumbed to the brainrot.

Anyways I’d recommend, some of it can be hot or miss I think. Overall 8/10 for me.

As much as I like Vintage8, with as much dialogue he writes into some of his series it comes across as cheesy to me a lot of the time.
The characters sometimes feel more like set pieces with generic dialogue
I feel like it would benefit greatly if he just wrote the characters and what they say a bit better.

The new Kane Pixels thing is interesting. I didn't know exactly what I was watching at the start, my sister messaged me the link on mobile and I didn't see the channel name so the lack of expectations improved the experience somewhat. It was pretty obvious from the start that the video was a liminal art project thing but the transition from Havel's Tower House of Leaves CGI to real environment had a nice dreamlike deja vu vibe to it. Switched to the TV and saw the name, checks out, rest of video goes about as expected from that point.

I don't think it'll be worth 45 minutes to everyone, but if you find dead malls comfy viewing and a little early filmmaking career cheese endearing it's a nice project. I appreciate the integration of real places and the use of a prop that already has a presence in liminal/weirdcore content, will probably watch the first couple parts of the series.

If these faggots were actual horror fans that they claim to be, they'd know Urbanspook's series takes inspiration from Giallo, a genre from Italy that has often contains elements
of slasher, thriller, highly sexual/explicit scenes and psychological horror from mid 60s-70s (one of most prominent movies from this genre being Cannibal Holocaust), that went on to greatly influence American Slasher movies, actually no, if they knew that, they would most likely trying dox the retirement homes of whatever poor Italian blokes that made these movies 30-40 years ago and try to lecture them on being problematic and

I blame reddit for the current issues in analogue/digital horror. It's all the same. Scp? Scary snd good. Then the trannies and fags show up and ruin it with politics. Anything scary gets banned for being problematic. Same with lost media, liminal spaces, and the backrooms etc.

Start with an interezting idea. Simple and spooky. Thing gets popular. Popular thing attracts fags, trannies, and wokesters. Quality of things go down.

Scp becomes full of gender special characters and big names releasing orgy animations and DFE'ing. Not to mention all the dumb stories like trans homestuck space laser.

I feel like there's a weird grey area, where some media is just, "too far" for the zoomies, but it's media that maybe should be looked into?

Like, I remember reading about the list media of, "I Have No Mouth But I Must Scream" and some speculated that it's all probably in the disk still...but no one's wanted to look into it. Maybe because it's so infamous for how terrifying it is. Like, Benny eating the baby.

incredibly insincere, two-faced/hypocritical.

Urbanspook gets so much shit from retarded moralfags that pearl clutch about him depicting graphic things and "exploiting" child's death, when 99% of analog horror or "lost spooky mascot game" revolves around dead children and graphical depictions of death, but I guess it's okay for creators of other series to exploit death of children like that because they draw their horror characters that are supposed to be intimidating say "tranny rights" and coddle their zoomer audience, who can't bear the idea of things not being made to tailor to them and that maybe everybody has a different take on horror.
