Sony hate thread

Iirc, he was pushing her away for her own good. Then later he was neglecting her for his sense of duty, then abusing her as nigger suit spidey. He wasn't completely innocent himself.
Never said he was, but at least Peter got called out for being a shitheel in the movies. Aside from a slap to the face, which was treated as a terrible thing, no one called her out on her shit.
MJ was great in the first movie
That's the one where she kissed another guy and fantasized about the moment with her boyfriend, right? She belonged to the streets since day one.

Not really. The first Bayonetta sold like shit. Its why Sega didn't want put up the funds for a Bayonetta 2, and why Nintendo had to step in in the first place. Fact of the matter is, there would be no Bayonetta 2 (or Bayonetta 3) without Nintendo's involvement. Project Wingman was a fully crowdfunded success long before Sony showed up. Fans would have happily supported it because they've been the ones supporting it up to this point.
Bayonetta sold fine and SEGA DID put up the funds for Bayonetta 2. Then Sega America put all of Sega's money into Aliens: Colonial Marines which was a complete write-off that lost them a fortune AND fucked up the court case against Gearbox over it. Sega had to shut down fucking EVERYTHING because of that disaster. It almost killed Yakuza and a ton of other projects too and stopped the localization of PSO2, which ended up being a blessing given how much tranny localizers have fucked that up

Bayonetta sold like shit. It barely moved 1 million units, which is paltry for a major AAA game. The series as a whole has only sold about 5 million units total, for all three games. Major seller, it is not.

SEGA DID put up the funds for Bayonetta 2
Sega only partially funded the game. Nintendo had to put up the rest in order for the game to see the light of day.

Whether or not Aliens: Colonial Marines had anything to do with it is irrelevant. The point is that the game wouldn't exist had Nintendo not stepped in to fund it themselves. If Sega thought Bayonetta was going to actually recoup any losses, they would pushed it to release themselves.

Western game developers making female characters ugly on purpose to avoid pissing off trannies.
Not just trannies, but also niggers and fatties. Every western female character in a video game also has to be a a miserable cunt for whatever reason.

Don't they realize this sends a bad message to the rest of the world that western women IRL are batshit insane harpies that you should avoid completely? For a group of people that are into the whole "Feminist/GirlPower" movement, this sure is a slap in the face to all western women.

Bayonetta is the most astroturfed game of all time. I was there when the first one came out, nobody played it. The PS3 version was indeed unplayable, everyone on the internet urged people to avoid it like plague.

Iwata liked to jack off to the character, that's what happened.

I just want to add onto this: the main demographic that even talks about this series at this point is the queers saying the game was always a gay icon among other bullshit that have at most played her in Smash. Almost no one who talks about this game, ever played this game. It was an okay title on the 360 and every other entry sucked. No one even had a Wii U to play 2 at its launch either but almost everyone who actually played the series that talks about it bought it as one of the four games they owned in their time owning a Wii U.

Vertical stand sold separately and it costs just as much. I wonder if its still using that liquid metal for cooling that drips out when its sat vertically and thats why the stand isn't included.
Excuse me, $449.99? I think this is the very first time I have ever seen the price of a console increase.

Well, that'll look silly next to all the $249 Xbox Series Ss, $349 Switch OLEDs, and $399 Steam Decks.

Isn't that the launch price for the Switch OLED?

I mean if you count that, then I guess the first price increase I can think of would be the PSP go, launched at the absolutely retarded price of $250, when the normal PSP with more features was $170. But those are different models, so I don't count them.
Switch OLED is not really a different model, its the same hardware as the Switch just with an OLED screen and functional kickstand. I think the motherboard is slightly laid out differently with slightly better cooling, but thats not an actual upgrade of the hardware and it performs the same as Mariko Switch units, more so a slimming down with cheaper better tech or what have you, same with the Switch Lite. I don't know if you would call them something like a slim revision or what.

Well at this point I'll just end up arguing semantics, and that's no fun for everyone reading. I've considered the Wii Family Edition a different model from the Wii, too, despite being the same minus Gamecube hardware, because it's something to consider if you're shopping for a Wii. Maybe it's better worded as a revision, because it's certainly different than the Wii Mini, the ultra-cheap, ultra-stripped down version of the Wii. Now that's definitely a different model.

Wii Family Edition
That had a name? I've never heard anyone call those anything other than 'the wii's without back compat'

I wonder if this is actually true or if someone just made it up for the Wii fandom wiki.
edit: looked it up, its real. It's also how these Wiis can still use Nintendont perfectly fine, Nintendo just removed the disc reader and gamecube controller ports, so in this pointless argument of semantics the Family Edition is the exact same model as the Wii.

I think we can agree that regardless of what you call these different revisions, usually a 'slim' model is cheaper, so Sony is retarded.

You know, I realized I didn't have a clue where the name "Wii Family Edition" came from, so I did a bit of searching, and apparently that was on the box of that model of Wii in Europe.

So there we go.

That's true. And I personally don't know a single person who'd give up an entire disc drive just to save $50. Like, if a console doesn't take physical media, one of the last reasons to even stick with consoles nowadays, it better be sold at a generous, generous discount.

Yes, it's definitely still using liquid metal. And iirc the liquid metal dripping out was actually just a bad gasket in some of the production runs which would have happened regardless of console orientation.

LM does have problems though, especially if you don't keep your console clean and unnecessarily stress out the cooling system. But the alternative would be actual closed loop liquid cooling and that's even worse in terms of robustness. Really there's no real way out of the fact that modern processors are just too thermally inefficient to do the things we want them to do while also being purely air-cooled. I know Microsoft is potentially eyeing ARM chips for their next gen console to try and get lower TDP consoles that don't require weird cooling systems.

In Japan, the PS5 is getting another price INCREASE with those new models:
  • PS5 with Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive – 66,980 JPY (includes tax)
  • PS5 Digital Edition – 59,980 JPY (includes tax)

For comparison, the previous price hike of last year was like this:
  • PS5 – ¥60,478 yen (was ¥54,978 )
  • PS5 Digital – ¥49,478 yen (was ¥43,978 )
And to add:
Once inventory of the existing PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition models has sold out, the new design will be the only models available for purchase going forward.

It's like Playstation wants to be even less relevant in the Japanese market.
