Israel has very draconian gun control it's not as bad as the UK or Australia as you're allowed to own semi automatic rifles, pistols, and shotguns but the restriction process is prohibitive because of a couple of non Arab mass shooters in the 1990s and mid 2000s. Because of this conflict however you're going to see a lot of those restrictions get lifted to help Israelis defend themselves.

It is definitely harder for the average kike to get a firearm than the average amerimutt, I would know, I live here, but it is far from impossible, and you would think someone living right on the border of a sand nigger ghetto would go through the effort of getting at least one firearm per household in case of something exactly like this happening.

I think a huge problem with Israelis is that they tend to take their safety for granted until some catastrophic event like this, then become ultra paranoid blood thirsty lunatics for a few years, then start getting accustomed to peace and out army slowly degenerating again.

if one positive thing comes out of all of this it would be looser gun control, I genuinely don't understand why they cant just give people who finish their mandatory service a gun permit, everyone's required to learn how to use a rifle in bootcamp/basic training.

That's not the question I was asking. I'm asking what would you want done if at your kids' school, some terrorist organization started using your kids' as hostages to carry out rocket attacks on whatever. Would you want the school to be bombed?

Another question. When Israel sends out text messages which to be fair is better than nothing, where are the civilians supposed to run to? Location A that's about to be shelled to Location B that will be shelled after? They cut off electricity too, are those civilians supposed to charge their phones with a wooden stick?

It's an action in accordance with international law. Upon declaring a siege, the surrender demand is issued, and then once rejected the civilians must be allowed to evacuate. The fun part of this is there is no mechanism for how the evacuation is to be facilitated. especially in the context of Gaza.

We are operating with big boy pants on now. there is a formal declaration of war on the table, along with a siege proclomation. The governing "rules" if we can call them that, date back almost a hundred years, and are largely based themselves around basic medieval standards of chivalric conduct.

The demand is not meant to be serious or to be followed. Israel is simply required to issue it.
