You Know What Grinds My Gears? - Things that personally piss you off

My TV is made into as much of a dumb display as possible.
There was a brief period where CRTs were really cheap at thrift stores, but now it seems they're getting overpriced. And I guess LCD TVs from the '00s could also be rare.

Anyway I don't really watch broadcast TV anymore. I either watch stuff offline (such as DVDs), or over the internet (using Firefox).

The Sony GDM FW900 is a prime example of that. Once the devs for Control did a video where they gushed about it, and people realized you could play at 720p with everything maxed out and it would still look GOOD, demand (and therefore price) went through the damn roof.

I hate the way most people need to pretend to have a moral justification for trolling. Instead of just doing the bit it's like every lame ass has to go on some fabricated moral crusade.
"I simply don't like this person so I'd like to metaphorically shove them down the stairs and laugh at their twitching"
This is an understandable+natural response to encountering freaks and I respect it so much more than the faggotry that people in the Discord sphere like to pull. You also see it very often in the lady centric portions of the Internet.
You're the lamest fag on Earth if you need to dress up your sociopathic desire to inflict discomfort on people you simply dislike. Just shove the fat freak with cum stains on his sweatpants into a locker. Don't sit here and try to make a court case out of why he's actually evil incarnate instead of just gross and weird.

This, this really grinds my gears. It was working fine, I couldn't even exit without unplugging my entire TV.

I want to murder everyone involved with this. From the slave labour mine to adrenochrome drinking pedophiles. I pray for the most intense biblical revelations for them.
If it makes you feel better, it's a sign that the streaming services are dying. Because they keep pumping out garbage, and the way they split off and made a bunch of services splitting up the small amount of actually good content, most people don't want to subscribe to everything anymore because it's horribly overpriced. It's become like cable in a way, but worse because it's harder to search for everything at once because it's so fragmented.

Taxes are really pissing me off right now. And inflation. Fuck the IRS and the Federal Reserve.

Something I've notice in recent months that perplexes me more than it grinds my gears (this one's pretty insular, but whtvr) : I've seen users on Tumblr put Twitter refugees on the no-fly list after the Muskening as if The Great Tumblr Exodus of 2018 isn't the EXACT thing that morphed Twitter into the shitscape it became. Why so spooked? The hens are just coming home to roost.

When Reddit shit itself, they were welcomed with open arms. lol

Bro, try out the site for a little longer than a day before coming to that assanine of a conclusion. Every thread infamous for exactly what you're bitching about is 'male centric'. There's a reason why Josh regularly has some shit to say about the people who follow DSP, Wings, Cobes and Cyrax, just to name a few off the top of my head.

No. I've lurked plenty and I had an account a few years ago that I lost access to.

I was actually thinking about the YouTube Drama community, more specifically the weird intersection of fat gorl world and Discord faggots. Regardless, more of an opinion of the Internet at large, which is primarily 99% not a Kiwi Farm.

He's like the weatherman for autistic people.

Same thing is true with my $DAYJOB. I like doing what I do and I do better at it in that particular work environment. Not every corporation is impersonal and treats people as little more than dollar signs, but those that don't are admittedly rare.
I'm sick of people who assume liking your job also means you're a corporate cuck or whatnot. I happen to like my mail processing job not because I'm blindly loyal or devoted to the agency I work for, but because I unironically like the job itself.
I'm more than happy to do the job I'm assigned, and do it well. I don't like being paid to do nothing.

What I cannot stand is being waylaid, distracted, and interrupted by people and things that are not my job.

This shit. And it keeps getting worse; there's now a fucking timer on it that I have to wait out before it becomes closable.

2nd day of waiting for an important call. All I've gotten so far are scam calls.
Finally got the call after 3 - 4 scam calls in just 3 hours.

I got that crap too, but I could instantly close the window.

Anyway YT is getting ever worse overall. It is like entropy.

What, do you get a ton of scam calls all the time or was this important call sort of drawing in the scam calls for some weird reason? Like the scammers knew you were waiting for it and kept trying to fool you?

I may have mentioned this before, but screw it. Scam calls. By the '90s, there was the occasional telemarketing call. In the '00s, telemarketing got so bad that there was the "Do Not Call" list. But in Current Year, it seems just about every call is a scam call.

Like the scammers knew you were waiting for it and kept trying to fool you?
I figure that's how often I get scam calls every day if I didn't ignore the phone like I normally do (because of all the scamcalls).

When people never do research and just believe anything
To the contrast of this, when people instinctually disbelieve you when you're trying to talk about a subject just because you don't work in that field.

If I didn't know what I was talking about, I wouldn't say anything. What makes you think I did no research?
