2023 Israel-Palestine Armed Conflict

With BLM sidding fully with Hamas, some of their supporters are becoming disillusioned with them.

Yeah I don't care how many "Israel is just incompetent from 10 years of relative peace" people say, any idiot can see paragliders coming in, in broad daylight. We have realtime spy satelites. People get shot for making threatening comments about the President of the United States online.

Now suddenly everyone is in 2 million BC. "What dat bird thing? Fly over fence"
Not sure if people are pretending to be retarded, but it's not like the invasion was 1000 Hamas soldiers on paragliders.

They started very early in the morning by sending thousands of rockets, forcing people into shelters. They attacked guard towers with drones, and blew holes in the wall with RPGs. Then they flooded in and quickly overwhelmed the border guard posts.

The paragliders and people coming in on boats helped to create disarray, but they probably weren't instrumental to the operation of any sort. Especially not the former, who couldn't have been many.

Prelude to the ground assault? Massive strikes to soften targets and positions I would assume.

If I was Israel, I'd delay any ground invasion for as long as possible. Especially if they're still finding fucking bodies from the attack on October 7.

If IDF soldiers go in now, they will murder everything that moves. The US only dropped a few CIA spooks into Afghanistan 15 days after 9-11, and actual boots on the ground arrived October 19. Imagine if you sent a bunch of US Army guys from NY into Afghanistan September 15, 2001?

Bombings and artillery also minimize the risk to IDF personnel.

Ghosts of Tel Aviv.

Those reports claimed 40 dead babies, some were beheaded.
There are photos of bloody cribs, what other act would create so much blood? Maybe someone ran to protect the baby but Hamas terrorists shot them in the head.

I don't think there's an official source yet.
There are reports that this atrocity has been committed under the order of a high ranking hamas member called Samir Al-Hayidi. He has reportedly left the region.

The Gaza fence has cameras and sensors. Now apparently Hamas who cannot stop banging their cousins is the Mission Impossible Team. Dropping down to disarm sensors on wires. Did the IDF drop some super brain serum in their water in the last 6 months? Doesn't sound like something the IDF would do, considering Israel is the chosen.

BLM Chicago has weighed in.
The bloodthirst from these ivory tower fucks is really something else.

I'm sure glad the organization in charge of 'mostly peaceful' protests are actively endorsing violent terrorism

Doesn't make me fear about the escalation of "mostly peaceful" protests here in the states at all-- especially with more DAs that don't enforce the law at all.

Nope totally not horrifying.
Totally not related but remember those vagina traps they designed in Africa to cut off the dicks of rapists?

Think a Kickstarter campaign could fund and expedite their development in the states? Asking for a friend.

The next phase of this war is going to be the ground invasion by the IDF which can go one of two ways either it goes well for the IDF and they manage to exterminate Hamas and assert control over the Gaza strip or things go poorly and they take massive casualties and are forced to stop their ground invasion. If the IDF ground offensive is halted then Israel has two options either call it a day and try to get a ceasefire or try and starve/bomb out Gaza.

TL;DR it is going to be extremely bloody for everyone involved and Israel is probably going to become a Pariah state both to the Middle East and Islamic world and to much of the rest of the world. I cannot emphasize enough how incredibly ugly it seems like this war will be.

I think the IDF will have a really rough time in the ground war because urban combat is extremely difficult and it seems like the IDF doesn't have the capability and hasn't reformed based on the lessons learned in Ukraine or Nagorno-Karabakh. As a result Israel will have to decide to either give and try for a ceasefire which may or may not even be possible or try and bomb/siege Gaza into non-existence. Israel can't simply completely level Gaza because destroying an entire city with explosives is difficult and Hamas has tunnels which basically means Israel will have to starve Gaza out.
Therefore, I think a siege of Gaza is most likely which will likely cause hundreds of thousands if not over a million of deaths if successfully cared out. This is going to cause Israel massive problems in relation with western nations because killing hundreds of thousands of civilians is generally not looked upon favorably. But Israel might continue anyway as long as they can continue.

The other side of the Gaza ground invasion is intervention by outside forces including Hezbollah, Egypt and Forces in Syria and possible material support from other countries like Turkey or Iran. I suspect intervening countries won't launch offensives but instead will simply launch rockets and utilize drones for precision strikes. Considering the amount of cheap and relatively effective precision guided munitions Iran has for example I expect this to be an extremely effective tactic that will kill many IDF soldiers. Already there has been exchanges of Artillery between Hezbollah and Forces in Syria as a sort of warning to and from Israel

This was a /pol/ take I probably should have expected....

That's something a lot of Israelis believe btw, especially those who did extended service in the IDF. Nothing happens in and around Gaza without Israel's security apparatus knowing about it and don't forget, Egypt said they warned Israel HAMAS had a big op ready to go in the coming days.

Netanyahu waved it away.

Well, I can tell you, with every orphan left after these bombings, they've likely created a new generation of extremists. Not purposely, but child soldiers is how most terrorist groups keep going.

They take young boys off the street, give them food, shelter, anything better than starving on the street. Next they want you to start participating in training, if you don't, your back out on the street. These kids don't have family, government support, even an orphanage to go to. Nor do they have the education to know any other way. So they stay with whatever group took them in.

So every day becomes grueling training, enough rations to keep you going, and a daily dose of being reminded that the only reason you're in this situation is because of the people you're being trained to kill. At this point, they don't really need the religious backing to gather recruits. There is no formal education in most of these areas. So the options for an alternative lifestyle or career change is limited. If you live long enough they're even take one of the girl orphans off the street and hook you up with a bride.

I'm not here to say forgiveness is the only way forward. At this point it's just part of the endless cycle of violence, with anything resembling a good ending for everyone involved having gone off the table decades ago. I can barely be sympathetic to either side at this. This conflict in the middle east has been going on long before I was born and probably long after.

On a lighter note, to answer a question I see continually raised in the thread. It may be hard to accept, but the reason why we have so many users are IDF being called in, is simple. You've probably heard of them, you've might even met one, a Jew that you said to yourself , is"okay". Well, I'll tell you, some of them are the strongest shit posters. I can anti-semest with best, but Jewish banter is top notch.

Tl;dr; don't get your hopes up this ends anything. Warfare is the lifeblood of the middle east. It would collapse otherwise.

They blew shit up and flooded in. Truly geniuses.

There are videos of them using drones with grenades on guard towers, tanks and soldiers. Don't know what to tell you if this is hard to comprehend.
