im actually surprised that iran didnt know. two scenarios i can think of is:
  • they gave hamas a bunch of weapons and hamas just decided to take the opportunity to launch an attack without telling anyone.it's like niggers going wild after winning the lottery. doubtful but possible.
  • iran did know but israel is feeling that they dont want to deal with gaza, lebanon, syria, and iran all at once so they are walking back the claims iran knew about it. this seems the most likely to me; the idf would pretty much be at their operational limit if they carry out an invasion of gaza on top of keeping their northern border secure against hezbollah.

"Hamas" is a gang of murdering thugs, not a government. It's whole existence is predicated on the total annihilation of ME yewery, as stated explicitly in its Charter.

Having them as a governing entity is literally like the population of Los Angeles County voting in the Bloods or Crips at every level of government [except for the fact that the Bloods and Crips would probably do a better job than current elected officials].

It has no interest in and has always rejected any conclusion to the matter other than the entirety of the yewish population being destroyed and there being a "palestinian" state from the river to the sea [despite the fact that the "palestinian" state of Jordan already exists and has existed, conceptually, since 1922 and that something on the order of 80% of the so-called "palestinians" are migrants (or descendants of migrants) from someplace other than the region once known as Palestine].

Any investment in Gaza comes from individuals or private foundations; "humanitarian" assistance as in that from the non-Muslim world funnels its way through to the "civilian" population [to the extent any of the squatters can truly be called "civilians" (Hamas' popularity among Gazans rivals pre-WWII Hitler)], but pretty much anything that comes from, among others, the IRGC, is 100% devoted to making war on the yews. Which is a shame, as Gaza in particular could be a paradise by the sea with a tourism sector, offshore gas extraction, agriculture and technology development if they were governed by more sensible people who actually cared about the "civilian" population and were interested in building a nation of their own the way their hated cousins did starting in the 1850s...

The Palestinian Authority in the West Bank at least works at nation-building in a way Hamas never has even thought of.

They already have ham right there in the name, so I’m pretty sure they were already haram.

Also, the brutality of the shit these guys pulled really fucks with my ability to empathize. I have my problems with the government of Israel constantly plotting to wag the dog and never really having our back. I wouldn’t personally choose to bend over backwards to help them.

But as far as all of this goes, I take some catharsis in watching them fuck up gaza.
