The most disturbing part of is she is visibly pregnant enough for a 5 year old to figure it out. It depresses me to wonder how old the baby is.

If you expect modern women to be able to cook, you're going to be saying "next" a whole lot.

It has made it kind of easier I guess, because you can be a clueless moron, but a lot of young women are enthralled by your basic ability to function and feed yourself.

I remember at the last job I worked at, I tried to explain to a girl that if her dad had psoriasis then putting hydrogen peroxide on it wouldn't help, because that's supposed to be for infections (even though it isn't effective for that either), at which point she asked me "What's an infection?". This girl in her early 20s acted like I must be an MD as I explained the basic concept of bacterial, viral, fungal, parasitic infections.

Nowadays it feels like you just keep staying in the same place you've always been while the standards keep getting lower around you. Never been easier to impress women than it is today.

It's so fucking weird, my mom encouraged me to learn to cook, but otherwise I learned by doing. Impressed the current emotionally unstable redhead with simple shit, since my current diet involves basic variations on a protein, rice, and eggs. Throw in some diced veggies/salsa/little cheese/whatever and they think it's magic or something.

I despair for the Zoomers, they'll treat someone who can boil water like the monkeys around the obelisk in Space Odyssey.
