The important question is why the delay? Did she get denied first and appealed? I do not buy that she wanted to stay that long. Salah wanted to go home and she ran out of medications.

The other point is that will she be able to do a visa run in January? If she has been tagged as someone doing multiple visa runs by the government, she might be denied again. So what is Plan B even if Plan A was never a good one in the first place?

Here are her two possibilities; having a family visa or a working visa. So far, family visas are not available for her and no one knows when they will be available. A working visa would have to be agreed upon by the Kuwaiti owner of the business. I am sure that this can be arranged but it could be expensive. I am also not sure about the medical requirements.

FFG explained that very thing several times and you could hear in her voice how it still upsets her.

You might be able to fool VIBs but you can’t fool a vet and their staff - they’ve sadly seen it all. The vet took and continues to take notes and we saw the original ones. And they were damning.

Chantal can’t tantrum her way out of that. BBJ always was a skinny little thing under the badly matted fur and kidney issues exacerbate that.

She may not have much longer left but her final time alive will be spent clean, comfortable and pain free.

When it’s time for her to pass on, the vet will know and FFG and BBJ’s new owner will know and do the right thing.

At which point FFG will turn into a cat killer and that’s as predictable as Chantal scarfing down anoth overly large meal every 2 hours.
