Why he can't work on multiple projects at once to help keep the wheels moving is beyond me. Longform content creators like Joon the King will work on smaller projects as well as bigger releases so he can keep content coming out without stagnating. Jon's been working on a DarkSydePhil video, which is going to take forever due to all the research, so in the meanwhile he's put out Cryaotic, QuantumTV, and Bam Margera videos within a month. Hour long videos, too.

Fredrik is mismanaging the project and instead of taking a serious look at his failures, he's trying to parlay into easier, lazier content instead. "Pay me to drink tea!"

It all comes down to his time mismanagement. There's no reason to not cut it up if it's taken 2 goddamn years to get even this far. The algorithm may love longform content at the moment, but it won't make up for a horde of subscribers who have already moved on. And then there's the sheer disrespect of it all. Why do this to people who support you? Do you have no shame? And then, if your artist is the bottleneck, go around them. Lots of big projects have multiple artists. The second the estimated runtime ran over 1 hour, Fred should have been thinking "Maybe I should hire another artist."

But no, like all YouTubers he's been handed success and a platform without learning the basic management skills to keep it sustained.

Here's a tip, asshole: Many hands make light work. Hire some more help if it's going to take you half a presidential term. Is that too expensive? Start cutting content. Do we *really* need a six-hour epic on Space Accountant Simulator?

His critiques of the video took up almost half the runtime of the 6 minute long self-flagellation (he went through 7 of his videos in it).

If I had to hazard a guess, considering his perfectionist nature, his troll's remorse, and the fact that one of his biggest critiques was not mentioning the positives, he was personally unsatisfied with the video and decided to take it down.
