Someone read Hosk's post.

Really? No one wanted to spend an extra $750 to upgrade to lunch with the Wus?
So, you pay 750$ for backer rewards you will never see, and you get the honor to eat with Brianna and Frank?

I can vividly picture this in my mind:
You three are sitting in Olive Garden, oily food and plastic bottles of neon-colored Powerrade in front of you. Brianna is droning on and on about how successful she is, mentioning her harassment in every other sentence, while some bit of broccoli is stuck between her teeth, and your eyes are drawn to it each time she snarls at you. She doesn't even stop talking as she checks her Twitter compulsively every 45 seconds, then your phone buzzes and you see that she just tweeted that she has an "important meeting" at a "high end restaurant" with an "important business partner". All the while ever-screaming Frank sits to the side and plays Peggle, trying to eat without moving his jaws. And the only thing you are happy about is, that you are at least not sitting in her dusty house, which smells of stale cigarette smoke, surrounded by yapping, caged dogs and have to pretend that the Blue Apron car-crash Brianna has cooked isn't burned by herself and tastes overly salty - because, let's be honest, what else but "burned by herself" and "overly salty" cloud it be.?

Sounds like a good deal... if you are into Kafkaesque experiences.
It's not like the changelog (or anything about the game, really) should be posted to your official website or something. Just spit it on Twitter, that is what professionals do, right?

Except John probably would try to force you to eat some Blue Apron abomination. Or Soylent. Or both.

Technical prose she can spew about to make those cucks believe her:

Last minute bug, we are fixing in order to give you the best experience, the bug is:
  • incompatibility with latest drivers for S3/Matrox based GPUs
  • Memory leak, which we didn't find during Q&A testing because my machine has 32GB of DDR4!
  • Incompatibility with HTC VIVE, we did all our testing with an Oculus Rift
  • Windows loses focus when you're in a Skype call, input isn't registered, major bug guiz!
  • Twitter integration isn't working as expected, what a time for Twitter to update their API!
  • Residual cache from the pre-load is causing Steam to corrupt the install
  • Apple puled our game 4 hours before the release! I bet some GooberGape guy is working at Apple!
  • I said, release on STEAM, I never said release on WINDOWS, Sorry Rev60 is only available for people running SUSE Linux with Apple trackpad based devices. (This is the thing that's bugging me, she talks about Steam and Apple, and I'm wondering if she's going to limit it to people running OS X only...

She's got to big of an ego to blame a delay on herself. And she's pushed the narrative that "the game is done" for a couple years now.

My guess is it'll either be something about her wanting to perfect some aspect of the lighting or that she needs more time to get the marketing together. I mean wasn't some big publication promised an exclusive?

The exclusive is one of her delusions. when you're an AA title, and you want a favorable "first look" at your next-gen hype product, you invite a magazine like EDGE over to your office for a day (or 3) and let them watch presentations, give them a few screenshots and let them play through a part of your game.

This is all based on hype new technology and the fact that you've got at least 5 million people that want to play your latest game on a next-gen console.

This, however, is Revolution 60, a game so bland, and if it wasn't for Wu's notoriety because of her gamergate shrieking, no one would know, or care about. she'll find a media outlet that wants to do an exclusive preview, the review, done by someone with fishmouth and danger hair, and general positive praise, not for the gameplay, but because of "harassment of wymen."

She hasn't updated the steam repo yet, so nobody can have received a review copy. With just 6 days to go, that's basically just giving up on the idea that any of the gaming press will care.

On the plus side, it'll be obvious that any place that gives R60 publicity is basically doing it to asspat Wu. I wonder if there are any sites with low enough standards?

Gaming sites have standards now?

  • Racist protection not working correctly. Game still starts if installed in the state of Mississippi.
  • It seems that the new TYPING gameplay is only working on Apple keyboards.
  • Sound turns into a static 2000Hz-tone and game sets your volume to 100%, sound continues even after closing the game. Solution for now is to reboot the system multiple times.
  • In 2.5% of all cases staring Revolution 60 might corrupt your Master Boot Record or GUID Partition Table.
  • GamerGate-search routine does not work properly. Routine is supposed to search your personal Twitter account for GamerGate realated tweets and then send your personal data to GSX - for the purpose of 'statistics'.
  • On rare occasions Rev 60 might cause cancer

If Polygon can have someone who has never touched a controller before record a gameplay presentation of Doom, I'm sure they can spare a few minutes to write an article.
Nice to see Wu Vs. Wu is making a glorious comeback. I'm sure there will be plenty more in the next six days.
