Everyone just nodding along as if they totally agree and the Muslim lady was very ignorant.

Do people actually believe this? Or is it just pretend for feelings?

I was reading comments online about it, and lots of people talking how tiring it must be for trans to explain. How the lady should do the research herself. It's not up to trans to educate. Yet to me, I still can't make sense of what these people think or allege to think. Do they really have gender and sex decoupled in their mind to the point they pretend sex doesn't exist?

My kids (5, 7, 10, 12) still call me "dad" as was their request when I came out to them 6 months ago. At first I was ok with that as I felt it would help them be accepting. However, at this point it has really started to be problematic and I need them to call me something different. I have gently suggested being called mom, but I have gotten some pushback from both them and their other mom (although at this point I don't care what she thinks). Anyone have good ideas for alternative mom titles? I'm hoping to talk to them next weekend about it and offer a few suggestions for them to pick from.
