How bad are things at Nijisanji threw away everything to join up with Vshojo? Her graduation stream went on for over 17 hours and every time that I checked in on it there were over 20k people watching her. People loved her. I hope for the honey bunnies' sake that she comes back every bit and more of the streamer they cherished.

...I don't doubt she had her reasons but...I don't know guys it just kinda cheapens her departure to me. I'm so cynical about everything that I can't help but compare it all to the RLM meme, whether warranted or not.

The main reason I would say I just don't feel that way or find it somewhat silly to feel that way.
This is likely every single vtuber you watch, just people have a habit of overlooking it when it's someone going to holo or niji instead of them going somewhere else. 90% of holoEN and nijiEN were doing other things streaming before, many of them vtubing independently. It's just how the industry is and always has been. the RLM meme at least has a point because it's talking about the context of a story where deaths are supposed to have stakes and weight. Vtuber graduations are just autistic girls changing jobs and roles

Most of Myth has talked about having issues with management so it's not just the vsinger side of things. Ame recently talked about how they had three managers and practically zero support otherwise.

Vshoujo has now poached 2 Holos, 2 Nijis, and one of the most prominent indies from the early days. They've honestly come a pretty long way

Speaking of Vshoujo, there is yet another controversy brewing and it involves, who else, but Froot. Everybody remember Ant-Hime, the Vtuber that did the whole expose on Froot, delving into her history and everything regarding her cheating on her husband? Well, it seems that that Ant-Hime's Twitter/Xitter/however-you-spell-it got mass reported into suspension. And not just that either. Ant-Hime's Discord also got nuked and her account taken down, so this appears to be a targeted campaign. Well, scratch appears to be, as its been confirmed that Froot's mom was actually leading the campaign against her, which she openly confirmed herself. And continued to brag about on Xitter.

She was raised in copious amounts of filth and also lived in equal or more of the same filth as an adult. Her body only had two options, die or adapt. It chose the latter and now we see just what the human body can do in such a chaotic environment. I was glad to see Pika come back as Henya but that was more so because I enjoy her goofy moments and to see the troons seething that they didn't force her to leave the internet even if it meant she had to be part of vwhorejo.

I was thinking about how crazy watching V-Tubers got in 2020. So much weird and audacious stuff happened that charmed me.

I really fucking miss Coco screaming Nigger and Faggot on her untranslated livestreams. Watching those streams for those brief bursts of English where she slagged off trannies and idiots. It made me learn a bit of moonrunes so I could understand her. I don't really watch much Vtubers now everything is so sedated and corporate. Even Marine and Pekora have calmed down whilst Hachamma has just fucked off. Phase Connect is good though. It has a portion of that energy that I miss. I'd really like to see what they'd do if they did a male branch and how they'd be personality wise.
