People that bring it up are generally pro-Israel, the only information they get about the whole region is from the mainstream news. Everyone else is either indifferent or pro-Hamas.

My impressions from people I've spoken to are that the three most common takes are:

"Hamas killed babies, and there were scary people firing fireworks at the Israeli embassy HERE! The Jewish schools closed or told the children not to wear their uniforms to school just in case! Israel has to bomb Palestine to stop another holocaust, the civilians can evacuate."

"Hamas shouldn't have killed babies but Israel basically brought this on itself and they need to instantly stop any activity right now because they're being wildly disproportionate."

"I feel that this is kind of our fault at a bit, and I don't agree with Hamas killing babies and I think Israel needed to do something, but I also don't agree with Israel trying to do ethnic cleansing, which is what they know they're doing, so I'm just going to hand-wring like a pussy because I can't parse this properly and keep circling"

FWIW I'm camp number 3. I know there are two types of pants, pants for combat that are, well...combat pants and dress uniforms, GENERALLY when the women are out being thots or whatever they will put on their dress uniform. Also, the IDF puts MOST of their women in Desk, medical or training positions where they do not have to wear combat uniforms. THAT BEING SAID the women will narrow their pants to be "more fashionable". So what these tiktok girls do is put their combat equipment on over their tailored dress uniforms and dance around. They are not actually going into battle with their ass like that....generally.
