I conclude that the Rekieta Curse is in full effect and the charity should expect to lose their trademark.
I assumed they wanted to sign a licensing agreement for some token fee merely to protect their trademark. But it looks like there's tons of organizations that use the name "ISOM" or "Isom", including another one that uses the name "____ School of Ministry". It wouldn't surprise me if it was Dick's fans(?) emailing them that convinced them to sue.

The point of trademark law is to prevent consumer confusion and I feel the risk of confusion is minimal to none in this case. I really doubt that anyone has contacted the charity claiming to be confused who is not a troll.
