i’m posting this here because i just commented it on someone’s post but i figured it’d be more visible here for others that could benefit from hearing it.

so aside from milking, since some people may be sore or swollen, and it also may not completely stop you from dripping ,

one thing i’ve heard someone doing on youtube to help with the leakage/dripping was buying one of those hand mittens for newborns. the ones that stop them from scratching their faces. he bought a few of those since they’re pretty cheap and would put some tissues in and just put that over the tip of it after he peed if he didn’t have time to milk it or if he was in public or in a rush. and they’re washable so you can reuse them as often as you’d like. it should be easy to just hide in the fly of your underwear if you aren’t using it (extra points if you have dual/single pouch underwear) then just take it out as you need and take it off whenever you don’t need it anymorehope that’s useful info for anyone

Spoiler: 7 Months post op stage 1, about to have surgery again

Hey everyone!

I am late again but I was seven months post op from my first stage of RFF with Santucci on the 6th with UL, viginectomy, phallus creation, scrotoplasty.

Healing has been pretty good. I am honestly not really looking forward to surgery again (happening Tuesday) as I am really feeling back in my body regarding ability to run, bike, move, etc. I have a fistula that I pee from, I do not pee from my phallus but will be getting the fistula repaired and stricture on Tuesday. Unfortunately, I will have a SP catheter again which I did not want.

I am about 4” in length and 3.25” in girth. My initial size right out of surgery was 5” length and 4.5” in girth so about an inch of loss in size length and width. Size is something I still struggle with. I have only tried penetration once with a partner and used a sleeve. Ideally I would like to be able to have penetrative sex in the future, potentially once my ED comes into play.

I have some spots along my dick that have feeling! This is exciting. I have been able to have sex and jerk off with my dick which is awesome.

My arm has healed really well and so has my leg for graft sites. I wear a silicone sleeve all day every day and sleep without it to let the skin breathe.

Next surgery is going to be glansplasty, fistula and structure repair.

Personally I find it really frustrating and disrespectful when trans people try to claim the intersex experience. It's copping the massive amount of medical trauma that so many of us have to validate their identity. Especially when trans people say that "well im trans so my brain is different from my physical sex so that makes me intersex" or wish they were intersex to

"make their transition easier". If you hang around intersex groups online every 4th or 5th post will be a trans person trying to validate their identity by taking our experiences and its almost impossible for us to disscus our own issues because of this.

The trans community share a huge amount of the same struggles and we would both benifit from the mutual support of the other but trying to equate the 2 is nothing but harmful or disrespectful. Being intersex made my transition significantly harder. I was given breast by a Dr without my consent and now I have to get permission to get rid of them.
