2023 Israel-Palestine Armed Conflict

  • 🔧 At about Midnight EST I am going to completely fuck up the site trying to fix something.
Historical sperging
More historical sperging
Though I get what each of youare trying to get at, I'll put it bluntly, the whole area is basically might makes right now. I don't give a shit who lived where and how long ago. The only relevant part is if you can conquer it and keep it. Everything else is going "ackshually" to try and get favor from an international community that should stay the hell away from the sandpit. And Hamas fucked up big time with the rave, so everyone is pretty keen to look the other way for a while.
Hamas is operating outside the laws of the war, and as such they are no longer protected by them. As consequence, neither is anyone else under their power. The international community will keep bringing up the laws of war, because that is what they must do, but make no mistake. Gaza will burn for what happened last week, and the architects of the coming apocalypse for Gaza will never be brought to account because...they dindu nuffin.
Who establishes the rules of war and who enforces them and establishes consequemces? Why were the nazi crimes the most wretched while the USSR were fine and dandy? Why are Japan guilty of their crimes during their imperial days yet the US dropping 2 nukes amd playing nation building in the sandpit barely gets a reaction?

It's all another bag of bullshit that just gives carte blanche to brown beat the loser with a false veneer of morality, "my brutality is justified, but yours is not". What I do agree with is that on two sided conflicts, they won't go all in to avoid escalation and in case a lot of countries start looking at you like an existencial threat. The moment you use chem weapons, everybody uses them and so on.

Though if you have enough allies and mediatic control, you can use some pretty spicy shit and the "international community" would be numb about it.
LOL, this is the only good part of having these fucks around.

Its very possible everyone was on board with "Blow up some check points, take some hostages, cross border fire from Lebanon" down to unit commanders, but day of, the Hamas foot soldiers went fucking berserk for whatever reason - maybe the Imam was a little to good at his job of whipping them into righteous fury.
Or maybe some subcommander was a little pissed he wasn't invited to the F1 races with the rest of the Hamas leadership and channeled that rage into operational planning.
Or maybe the Iranian contact didn't read the planned operation all the way through and didn't realize what he'd approved.

Also, who the fuck thinks Bibi's plans are in the shitter? Jigga now has 2001 Bush Jr levels of "Enact my executive mandate or you are a traitor to the country; war is on bitch" authority.

As others have speculated earlier, while he's on a high now, his entire regime depends on the monster that they created, i.e. Hamas. He survives by having an antagonist. The Ultra-Religious Zionist Right will do fine as they settle new land and fulfill their own religious prophecies. But his neo-con Likud will be gone in 10 years without a perpetual conflict to bitch about.

And? 7 years later archtraitor Obama was elected (and gave Iran 400 million dollars to not build a bomb until after he was out of office).
That's a problem for 10 years from now.

Im not contesting that, haha. But maybe he is worried about it. We'll see what happens. I'm not sure he's super-onboard with what's happening but his Ultra-Zionist coalition partners are jizzing in their pants right now so he has to go with the flow, I hope.

Will all the faggots politisperging about Bibi please just SHUT. THE FUCK. UP.

Here are the latest poll numbers. Normally, these aren't particularly accurate, but it's pretty obvious the era of Likud dominance is over:

I have never voted for a party less conservative than Religious Zionism in my life but I will almost certainly vote for Gantz when this is all over. Likud had a good run but it needs to be wiped out for the country's good. At this point Bibi could announce an unconditional surrender to Hamas and you'd still have a huge herd of right-wing idiots calling anyone who raised a peep a privileged Ashkenazi traitor.

The IDF's oldest reservist, 95-year-old Erza Yachin, called on all Israelis to kill all Arab neighbors. "Erase the memory of them. Erase them, their families, their mothers and children. These animals have no right to live!" - he declared, addressing the soldiers.

Fun fact, he's a veteran of the Lehi organization from the British Mandate era, Lehi is infamous for trying to form a military alliance with Nazi Germany in 1940 to help them kill the British, successfully committing the first massacre of civilians to hit 100+ victims in what is now Israel, and killing the U.N. mediator sent to end war of 1948 which directly led to them being declared an terrorist group by the State of Israel.

Breaking, Hamas indicating that it might use the whole population of Gaza as a human shield the way ISIS did. Whether he means that as "The Palestian people won't flee" or "We will make sure that the Palestinian people don't flee" remains to be seen. ( ) - Yeah they are already putting up roadblocks.

Iranian foreign minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian met Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Doha, Qatar. Hamas said the two had agreed to continue cooperation to achieve Hamas’s goals. Earlier, Haniyeh said in a televised speech that “there will be no migration from Gaza to Egypt” in the wake of Israel’s order to evacuate, and that Egypt “welcomes the Palestinian people, but not on the basis of migration or an exodus”.

US moves second carrier into place.

The US is sending a second aircraft carrier strike group to the eastern Mediterranean, the US defence secretary has confirmed, saying it is “to deter hostile actions against Israel or any efforts toward widening this war following Hamas’s attack”. Lloyd Austin said on Saturday the deployment signalled Washington’s “ironclad commitment to Israel’s security and our resolve to deter any state or non-state actor seeking to escalate this war”. The USS Eisenhower and its affiliated warships will join another carrier group already deployed to the region in the wake of the attack on Israel a week ago and Israel’s ongoing response. The US has sent munitions to Israel and warned other countries not to escalate the conflict.

Smh preventing the coming of the mashiach

Expected to wake up to hours of war footage. Imagine my disappointment to learn that it's been postponed because of a bit of rain. Israel better get their act together or they'll lose my support.
I hate to destroy your dreams man but don't expect this to go like the Ukraine war were both side published a shit ton of combat footage to social media. The IDF is super selective as to what they upload and Hamas has connectivity issues and films in vertical so don't get your hopes up.

Translation of (Hebrew portion of) a Chinese TV interview with the parents of a hostage kidnapped at the music festival:

@AltisticRight
Here is my Chinese translation. The TV Channel is Phoenix Infonews in HK, hence the traditional Chinese. Not Republic of China (Taiwan).
Newscaster portions (summarized since we know most of this):
260+ dead
25 year old mixed-race Zhong Yi, the 12th is her 26th birthday. In the video her boyfriend is taken away as well.
On the 10th her parents explained to us the suffering of the last few days. We could tell that her father is emotionally devastated.
[...]
Nora is a single Child. After becoming missing, Nora's mother tells us many of her friends recognized her on social media.
[...]
We also saw a family picture, back then your hair was still not gray.
[...]
Nora's parents recall the day before the music festival, they had shared a meal together. Their daughter returned to the dormitory and that was last contact.
[...]
3500 total in the venue, 4.8km to Gaza... videos shows expatiation.
Nora and her parents have not been in contact for over 96+ hours. Only a video showing she is sitting on a sofa drinking water, however the uploader is unknown and truthfulness of the video cannot be verified. Now, they hope the wider world can help rescue their daughter.
[...]
When asked about the situation of Nora, the Foreign Ministry of the PRC said they are still collaborating information sources, and vehemently condemn violence against civilians.

Mother's portions:
(Many) of my friends and classmates saw the video. They begin to message me and ask "Is this your daughter?", some people know my daughter because she has [unintelligible*]
[...]
That picture was taken about a year ago. The hair was dyed black then. Now my hair is all white due to surgery. I cannot dye my hair anymore, and I am afflicted with an acute disease. That disease is cancer and in the current situation where my daughter has now been abducted, is pouring salt into a wound.
[...]
(I) am extremely concerned about her safety, but she is a woman, so there is even more concern, you know that since we (interviewer) are all women here. I hope she is strong, we are waiting for her at home.

Takeaways:
  • Chinese foreign ministry wont do shit per usual
  • I have no sympathy for the "stonk female but she a woman so she in danger now!" like this mother states.
  • The mother is the stoic one in this family from her speech. Probably has to do with cancer or the father being not as stoic.
  • Mother is not native Mandarin speaker. No idea if she speaks Cantonese (Yue)/ Hakka/Min or a combination.
  • The parents live in China. See the light switch.
*I think she means "been in (China) mutiple times".

Dancing Israelis round-up, forgive me if any were already posted.

Gerrer Hasidim after delivering dinner to soldiers near Arad:

Students in the Golan Hesder Yeshiva (combines religious studies with military service) in a shelter during one of the missile alerts:

I think this happened during the evacuation of the Gazan southwards. I don't have any source.
Edit: Found source but he thinks it's an airstrike which it doesn't look to be so.
A bit late, but yeah.

My hot take:

It seems like once again this region is on the brink of exploding with risks of escalation of the conflict. A peaceful resolution seems like a difficult objective to reach before more blood gets spilled between both sides. On the geopolitical scale we can see that there is an increasing divide between pro-western countries and those who would prefer an alternative from the current status quo. Regular folks are also divided on this topic, the propaganda machine is once again forcing everyone to pick a side like during the previous global crisis such as covid or the war in Ukraine.

Now that I've shared my humble observation I would like to submit a tangible solution to neutralize the issue in the Israelo-Palestinian territory.
Imo the only way to fix that region in the long term is to force the area to be neutral: demilitarize both entities, dissolve the political structures and establish the place as a natural reserve like Antarctica. Create an international commission with a sit for each religious groups and redistribute funds from the US aid package for developing economy of the area and preserve historical sites. Any party making belligerent claims be it political/cultural/religious nature should be punished for trying to breach peace.

Thanks for coming to my TED Talk!
