It just seems dumb to keep the telecommunications intact; because it gives the enemy the ability to communicate with one another. Granted, I am not in the IDF so maybe this is a 4D chess move beyond my feeble understanding.

They potholed runways in Aleppo and Damascus. Most news reports say they hit airports, but neglect to mention there are military assets colocated at both. I think they want to cut down the chance of Syria getting frisky as they pushed into Gaza.


The timing is currently fucked. If the airport crew hasn't gone full inshallah, both runways should be useable sometime today.

This shit looks like Arma footage, even the way the camera moves doesn't seem real and the way the smoke/clouds dissipate don't jive properly but I could potentially chalk that to bitrate and resolution.

It's not 4D chess. If you can intercept the communications, (which Israel can) you want to let them happen. All of that communicating is useless to Hamas because they're basically telling Israel all of their plans. Hamas knows this already though.

Yea it is just a random talking head, but at least the theory seems sound. It does seem incredibly unlikely Hamas forces could have been this successful considering the type of defenses Israel has. Bret Weinstein and Efrat Fenigson also discuss it here:
