This is where I take exception. The US is also bad, just in different ways. It's a country where you can be arrested for just crossing the street ("jaywalking") or for standing still in one place for too long ("loitering").

But yeah, as things stand the UK is currently in a state of Anarcho-Tyranny. It's a country where illegally streaming football matches gets you 11 years in prison but raping a thirteen year old girl gets you 270 hours of community service. It seems the more egregious the crime, the lighter the sentence.

at the end they seemed to, but generally speaking, a number of these Just Stop Oil protests are done with the permission of the venue
but at other times, the chapter of Just Stop Oil doesnt know that and tries it somewhere without permission and gets arrested
thats why some of those art defacers got arrested and charged whilst some of them did not
i think this one just caught security off guard, probably wasnt expecting much action at an event for nerds
