This is exactly correct. I went the whole time from 2015-ish till maybe 2020 believing the lies people said about the site, still looking in whenever there was good info on drama, and went about my business. Once Rekieta introduced me to Null, Null to MATI, MATI (and Nick's nosedive) to signup. That whole time I learned how absolutely normal the site was, it just valued free, open discussion with whatever language you used as long as everything stayed legal and on-site. Every horror story I'd ever heard was 100% different to the telling and KF was always shown to be clean in those cases.
And thanks to all that, I found a very fun gaggle of spergs to sperg with on the Internet about stupid Internet shit.
