This was fantastic. Bassem Youssef is hilarious and well informed and able to hold his own in a debate, but also Piers Morgan is a cunt and it's always a pleasure to see him squirm. My personal favourite moment was when Bassem cornered him into explaining the proportionality of Palestinian deaths on the West Bank, Piers refused to answer, and pressed after an awkward silence he just said "It's actually not my job to answer your questions", prompting this facial expression:

Alright, I finished it and yeah, Bassem is great and honestly has some good points. He knows Israel doesn't have a future for Gaza in mind outside of them not existing anymore and I can't condone fucking with the West Bank who aren't controlled by Hamas. He criticizes Israel fairly while condemning Hamas. I can appreciate that a lot. I would say that his question of "What if you were an oppressed group whose only resistance group were terrorists? Would you sympathize or support them?" is interesting but I would not sympathize with them after completely screwing the pooch like Hamas has. I would honestly hate them for ruining their own cause and my hope for a better future when it was so easily avoidable by just picking a different target.

Then there's Boreing. Dude is a fucking cocksucker. His refusal to engage in the idea of a proportional response and how he believes wars are about beating your opponents into the dirt shows his lack of nuance. His argument that because Israel is delaying their ground invasion they're considering the Palestinian casualties is laughable. They don't want civilians in the area because they want to be able to attack with impunity with minimal IDF force losses.
Bassem has a point that carpet bombing and cracking down harder on Palestinians isn't going to solve anything. After all, it didn't last time and likely won't this time. Boreing would rather flat the entire city, ship them Gazans somewhere else and couldn't care less what happens from there.

To all you no guns (or bombs in this case) posters, the missile story sounds like total bullshit. And the fact it just so happened to hit a hospital? Come on. The bottle rockets Hamas uses don't cause that kind of damage, nor do they make a whistling sound. That sounds distinctly like a Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM). A JDAM is a precision guiding kit fitted to conventional dumb bombs (unguided bombs), thus turning them into precision bombs. That explosion is not some homemade missile. That's a heavy duty guided bomb dropped from a jet.

EDIT: I would also like to note that missiles sound like a loud roaring fire because the burning of fuel propelling the missile. The whistling sound is produced by air moving through a conventional bombs stabilizing fins at the back of the bomb.
