If you're highly promiscuous as is, you can make it work. Some people only do it for a while, while others make it a life style. Kinda like a drunk uncle that never wants to settle down, but with a lot more sex. The issue that I'm seeing more these days is the idea being pushed by the media and the masses that lots of sex and sex appeal replaces confidence and self-esteem. If all you want is to be loved, then being used like a cumrag isn't the road to happiness. It's also part of why you have these ex porn stars coming out and repenting.
I beg to differ with the qualifier "highly promiscuous." Especially for women, because women are different from men. There have always been much higher costs for sexual activity for women then men in terms of evolutionary psychology, and that means higher cost for many different reasons that arise from evolutionary psychology. Bill Burr, when he was still funny, compared it to the difference between running your finger along the icing on a cake for a taste and letting someone stick something inside you.

It’s really interesting how much dating apps have ruined dating. As someone mentioned before, people hate them but have grown dependent on them so women now become autistic deer, skittish and panicky if you approach them outside of an app setting.
A day or two ago on twitter some lefty wokescold lunatic posted a "feel good" story about a barista who gave a "left over hot chocolate" to an 18 year old young lady because a man approached her. Written on it was a message asking if she is ok and to lift the lid if not. She did not lift the lid. Now, there is WILD range of factual scenarios in that. But you would think if there were any details that would mitigate in favor of that, they would have been divulged. Guy was probably about her age, felt an attraction and approached her. And some barista pulled this shit. Now that I think about it, that that happened might be enough to short circuit his efforts. She may have liked him but receiving that is just enough of a negative social cue to mitigate against going on a date or what have you.
