Hello. I am an adult who transitioned as a juvenile who is interested in SRS. Many women on here post good results but most posters I have seen on here are from people who transitioned in adulthood, which I am glad to see the results but I am specifically curious about former juvenile transitioners experience with getting SRS after previously taking GNRHa like lupron/supprellin/etc and hormones are a young age. As most of the medical literature is pertaining to adult transitioners (with the exception of one or two dutch publications, but dutch surgeons aren't American) I am curious if anyone who transitioned as a teen is willing to share their experiences with getting GRS/SRS and can attest to surgical complications or lack thereof, sensitivity post recovery WRT orgasm/penetration as well as specific surgeon you had good or bad experiences with. I am specifically interested in PPT as my method.

Spoiler: How long does secondary intention wound healing usually take? - Complications during GCS/GRS/SRS Revision (necrosis + dehiscence of the urethral bed)

12 days ago I had my GCS Revision because I wanted some erectile tissue around the urethral opening and some skin on the labia majora to be removed

I thought this would be an easy surgery but I ended up having pretty bad complications. When I woke up in the recovery room I noticed a lot of blood running down my crouch and when I looked down there was a big puddle of blood on the bed. I got taken back to the OR immediately for an emergency surgery where the surgeon had to fix a damaged artery branch in the erectile tissue surrounding my urethra.

The bleeding and emergency surgery resulted in necrosis of 50% of my "urethral bed" (the clinic where I had my GCS uses urethral skin for this area). Luckily it's only visible when the labia are spread. I'm about to get released from the hospital and the wound (4cm x 0,5cm) is left to heal on it's own. I need to put polyhexanid wound gel on it 4 times a day.

How long does something like this usually take to heal? My surgeons couldn't give me a clear answer but reassured me that everything will look good in the end.

He actually explains in this post exactly what the urethral skin is referring to:

It's his version of the combined method so no penile inversion. The canal is mainly made from scrotal skin and if there is enough material on the penis he also uses some penile skin grafts. Part of the urethral skin is folded upwards and connected to the clitoris so everything is nice and pink. It's convenient that they remove the layer of the skin with the hair follicles so no electrolysis needed. ​

Dr. Markovsky and his Team don't use the urethral skin inside the vagina but they use it on the outside to cover the area between the pee hole and the clitoris.​
