It’s simply a microblogging platform which probably took upon itself to moderate content and offer verification.
The issue with that is that the verification will have the bias of whoever in twitter was tasked with the criteria for verification.

Now it seems that Musk is letting whoever post whatever, which isn’t a sign of being broken, it’s allowing unrestricted free speech and putting the onus on the consumer to verify stuff for themselves.
