Since I'm not gonna play the game, I guess I'm gonna pick my favourite character is reed, mostly because him taking a photo was the only scene that made me smile. Least favourite is a difficult choice, since I'm split between sage with its insufferable nail on chalkboard voice and stella, which made me wish for the sweet relief of death the moment he started to say "OH MY GOD!"

I found it funny how Reed just flips from this chill guy who seems like he accepts things in life, even something as death he'd probably greet with a smile because he had a good life. But, he suddenly switches to this cynical and misantrophic fucker on a dime.

I have a feeling you could probably rearrange the dialogue and have different characters say them in different scenes and you're probably not going to know the difference. Like if Sage brought french snacks over to the D&D session in that scene and you replaced her with Naomi, would anyone actually notice?

Reed and Sage add nothing, so I'd say so.
More findings:
  • Naomi and Naser's speeches were presented as embarrassing, "that's gonna haunt her forever". But those speeches weren't bad? I've given worse presentations, and I don't even think about them unless someone complains about speech class.
  • I'm no musician, but even I know that it's retarded to paint your nails around an expensive piece of equipment. Move the midi controller over to the dresser/you don't need to re-do your nails for picture day, and you can avoid this whole stupid situation.
  • Fang flipping out on Naser for taking down her posters is so stupid. He was complying with school policy. If he didn't take them down, one or both of them could have gotten in pretty big trouble. She then takes this moment to dig at him for being the parents favorite child, which is dickish.
  • Your choices. Should. Fucking. Matter.

First point sounds like they didn't want to "missgender" and give out Raul's deadname, that and maybe he is one of those tragic cases that got trooned out by his parents as a kid.
As for the last point, kid of hard to keep it cool when your outfit has a bunch of eyesore ribbons and shit

If you talk to Rosa at the beach, she implies that her family wasn't 100% cool and kosher with her transitioning, which also seems to imply that she did it recently.
More things I wanted to complain about because it's not like I have anything better to do:
  • Stella brings up that she has a thing for Naser, which is never addressed. Naomi is joined to him by the hip, and Rosa thirsts over his L&L quite a bit (Sage and Naomi do a tiny bit of that as well). Nasar harem when??
  • Why is there this drawn-out arc of everyone talking about going to college. THERE WILL BE NO COLLEGES FOR YOU PEOPLE TO ATTEND OH MY GOD-
  • Fang has a sequence in which she comes up with this little speech to tell Trish about her feelings and to let her know that she still supports her. Fang never gets to tell Trish this.
  • Fang and Rosa's relationship never evolves besides having Trish as a mutual friend.
  • The blue Swamp Baby member has the most obvious female voice ever.
