Huh? Null's not sitting on an empire. It's a small forum that much of the Western planet wants to take down. Josh needs every possible supporter.
What do Null and Rekieta STRATEGICALLY agree on? Plenty.
Null is an underdog, to be sure, and more support would always be welcome. That said, Nick is a grifter, not a supporter.
The difference between a supporter and a grifter is one is more liable to stab you in the back, kick you when you're down, and laugh at your misfortunes. For all Nick's talk of how important free speech on the Internet is, Nick didn't care when we were stuck on Tor (and he and Null were on better terms back then). Nick only cares now that we're back... and by care I mean he copes, seethes, and malds over not having control while he puts on his halting "dad" voice to. talk down to. and patronize. others.
The closest Nick comes to being cordial in this scenario is a barrage of backhanded compliments which don't inspire confidence. His solutions only involve boosting his own channel and influence. Strategically speaking, if there's anything that people in this thread have learned over this past year, it's that Nick can/has/will compromise his professed beliefs because he is a weak man who only adopted certain positions (free speech and the like) because it got him money and attention.
Also, unsure how Nick what Nick's help will look like when it comes time to deliver. His involvement coordinating Anime Matsuri was embarrassing and he keeps piling on more promises to his own fans rather than fulfilling them. All Nick does these days is over-promise and under-deliver. Recommend not trusting him with anything of value.
If they want to reconnect as friends then that's their business. Null may need support in some areas, but he also needs to trust the right people. Nick is not the right person.
